I run in to grab a few Dasani waters while my Louise pumps some gas. The cashier, who how should I put it nicely um did not look like he was born in Salina KS, wanted me to play power ball with my dollar change. I kindly refused and said I was just passing through and not from there. He than basically proposed to me telling me I was the most beautiful girl ever and I should not be driving alone and I should buy a power ball ticket. He than proceeded to watch me walk out the door, to car all from the door of his store. I was flattered and a bit scared all at the same time. If I ever want to date again I definitely need to leave Seattle, Seattle fails in men for me, though I don't think I'll move to Salina maybe back to California. Two pluses for this place besides being proposed to: 1.) my Dasani water was cheaper here than Seattle and 2.) so was the gas!

The parking lot is pretty big and filled with trucks parked while the drivers get some sleep. We…read morepulled in to get a fountain drink, something to eat and a charger for our phones. As soon as we walked into the entrance there was so much to look at and buy. Every wall, rack and shelf was full. The store also looked clean, even the bathrooms were clean and smelled good. After looking around a bit, we chose our food items, grabbed some drinks and a charger. The cashier scanned our items on the other side of the plexiglass, we paid and left for the truck. Then we found out we had the wrong charger so my husband went back in. The cashier had no clue how to do returns so my husband went to get the right charger and told him to subtract the price of the other charger. I'm guessing this cashier was new...it didn't look like he had help. My husband came back to the truck with the correct charger but forgot to get cigarettes. So a third time in the store then we were done and ready to get back on the right. The service is good here, they just need to train the employees better before leaving them in the store alone.

The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5, is there isn't a good place to seat and eat & talk to other people. Just single seats with 4 tables. These are the stationary seats attached to the table. Since we were broke down close to my sister in laws house, she came to visit us. We were able to visit outside on the tailgate of her jeep. So that's the one thing pilot needs is more room for people to get out of their cars and relax for awhile or visit and meet up.

They have chronic issues. New pumps but the printers don't work and they don't want to fix them…read more Too difficult they said. Lots of wires they said. Took years to replace old, broken, pumps. Once, they ran out of everything except regular, pasted a small hand written notice taped to the pump, but allowed pumping of "high test" while regular went into the car. Charged for high test, though. Shell gasoline is excellent but this business is not.
