Super busy location. Parking was full and I had to park across the road by a delivery truck. 3 registers running and a sample station set up in the front by the cashiers- this made accessing the area to prepare food, difficult. The aisle was small and cramped and worse with a line waiting to check out. I did look around to see if there was a fire safety occupancy number posted. I did not see one. I did have a Pepper Jack'd spicy chicken sandwich that was good. First time I've seen it in the stores. While checking out, the cashier did thank me for my patience, so she recognized there is an issue. read more

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of Kwik Trip/Kwik Star and it pains me to give a KS a rating like 3. It should probably be 2 but the rest of the store is fine. On the gas island, you'll find Unleaded, Unleaded 88 ( Unl Oxy 88 at Iowa Kwik Star) and Diesel #2. Inside you'll find Karuba coffee, Kwikery baked items, soft drinks, milk, etc. all the standard convenience store junk foods. It's an older and smaller location. It's also a very busy one and it is starting to show wear and tear here and there. But that's not the issue here. The store had a plumbing problem in the rest rooms. Use your imagination. What's worse, the fixture was missing operational gear. The door should have been locked and the door signed, "Out of Order." It's an awful thing to report about one store in a personal favorite chain of several hundred locations. read more

Today we stopped at Kwik Star for gas and snacks! Upon entering the store we were greeted by Marcy sweet little lady gave us free sample of new coffee flavor and coupons for later also asked what we needed and assisted us to all our needs with a kind heart and a Beautiful Smile you can tell she Loves her job and people so many times we forget about any kind of good service but today reminded me that the good people are still out there! Me and my family went to Kwik Star for some last minute items we forgot to buy while grocery shopping. We politely asked the lady to put our milk gallons in bags she looked at us really rudely as if she were annoyed . we were trying to be polite my mother asked her day was and everything we said she just ignored it .She barely talk to us and barely looked at us when she did though she looked at us annoyed ....Another customer came in the store he was the same race as her and she was really polite making jokes with him ... I personally was very disappointed in the customer service from now on I will simply shop somewhere else .... just wanted to leave this here so hopefully the employee can treat customers better read more
