Not a truck stop but more like a gas station with truck parking with no showers or laundry room. Considering it's not really many places with truck parking it's still convenient. There is a McDonalds nearby and a Starbucks across the street. Definitely a nice spot to take a break from over the road driving and purchase some snacks or beverages. Located right off U.S highway 30 in Marshalltown, Iowa. There is a FedEx drop box located at this gas station stop as well. read more

Had a bad head ache for a few days and could not find Advil to save my life, seen this place across the highway and ran over there around 5 am. The lady behind counter was very nice the store was very clean, got a soda pop and Advil and that made my day. read more

This place is a freaking dump. It is a total mess. The bathrooms had used paper towels and urine all over the floor. The window washing bins with the squeegees were empty and filled with trash. The garbage cans outside were overflowing. However, there was a sign on the door that says "hiring cashiers at eight dollars an hour". so if you're looking for a job where you don't want to do anything, clean anything, or have any real responsibility, this place might be for you. read more

Saved the day. I ran into town to return a redox movie and to hit the post office. As my car idled at the redox next door it ran out of gas. (For the record, I have an issue with the pony pump so when it gets close to a quarter of a tank it thinks it is empty. Mechanic tried to fix it twice to no avail.) So, I limped over to Git N Go and filled up. Phew! Life saver. :) Pumps are sitting at an angle which makes getting in and out easy. People parking to go inside always mess the flow of traffic up but that is their issue (don't know how to park) and not Git N Go's issue. The other time I did go inside and staff were all friendly and it was decently clean. Truckers like to park in the lot out back overnight. read more

This place is running a scam!! Stay away and go someplace else for gas!! I was pumping gas on Friday and my cell phone chirped. I put $15.02 worth of gas in my car and paid for it with a credit card at the pump. My credit card account is configured to warn me if a charge over $100 is placed on my account. Once I got in my car and checked my phone to see why it chirped. I found a new text that said Git N Go had put a $125.00 hold on my card!!! Mortified, I ran into the store to let them know of the MISTAKE and to tell them I only pumped $15.02 in gas, not $125.00. The attendant scoffed at me and said the hold would stay until my charge cleared and that it had always been that way. She said all the other gas stations in town do the same thing. This is a lie and a scam. I USED to always fill up at Git N Go and never had this happen before. I checked with other stations and they only place a $1.00 hold on the credit card until it clears. Git N Go is taking advantage of the COVID-19 scare and trying to scam customers. Stay away!!!! read more
