What a great gas station off of Highway 5! There's so much to love: -Plenty of gas stalls. -Clean both inside and outside. -Friendly staff. -Easy to access. -Gas prices are fairly competitive to other joints in the area. Most importantly, their drive through carwash is the bomb, since it has two: one touchless and one soft-touch. I tried the most expensive carwash for $9 (called the Elite), and it gently cleaned the grime off of my car. If I'm in the area, again, I'll definitely be back!

They know what they are doing! I don't feel home unless there's a Kwik Trip close by.

I found the 3 6-packs of 7-UP I wanted, but they didn't have A & W to complete my fourth. I went to the Customer service desk for help. Although he wore a Cub employee shirt, he said he didn't work at that station and couldn't help me. This short guy with a man-bun had an extremely poor attitude and didn't even offer to call someone else over. He told me to go to the self checkout. Well, there wasn't anyone there. I waited a while and no one showed up. I had to get the attention of another cashier. He called someone but they were unhelpful, too. If the first guy hadn't been so gruff with me I might have been more patient. I gave up and just bought 4 7-UPs. As I was leaving, a woman showed up and asked if I had a question! This is a poorly run store with obviously not enough staff. I will never go there again.

I've been to Cubs all over the Metro, and shockingly, this is consistently the worst Cub there is…read more You'd think Chanhassen of all places would have a pretty nice Cub, but you'd be wrong. It's the worst. It's remarkably refreshing whenever I make the trek out to a different Cub to see how nice they can be. Small store, the same 10 employees, doing the same things every day with the same stock, and the same lack of quality control. Produce is spotty at best, if you don't check it like a hawk, it won't just be iffy, it will be fully rotten. The meat, I don't even bother. "Manager's Special" doesn't mean expiring soon, it means it expired last week. The Deli, they must make sandwiches and hold them in the back for 36 hours because I've never seen one that wasn't at least 36 hours old (And spoiler alert, they only really keep for 18 hours) The Bakery is fine but the selection is ALWAYS the same now.. They haven't even bothered to make pies for months. It's like the management team or owner can't be bothered. They must just cash checks with no oversight because nothing ever changes at this place. The one thing that not surprisingly does change? The prices skyrocketing. And I don't just mean the packaged goods that have been inflated beyond believe everywhere in the state, I mean their Deli and Bakery prices now rival Lunds and Byerly's.. Which I don't have to tell anyone is beyond laughable. Cub is a great store.. Chanhassen Cub is a train wreck. Get it together. Let's get some variety going so I don't feel like I'm in Groundhog Day going to this place once a week. Bottom line - If you're shopping for popular box goods that are available anywhere, this cub is as good as any. But if you're going for their Deli, Bakery or Produce, be prepared to be horribly disappointed far more often than should be possible. I actually saw a moldy block of pre-packaged Crystal Farm's Pepper Jack cheese front and center at this place. I had NEVER seen anything like that in my life, but leave it to Chan Cub to make you have to start checking standard boxed/packaged goods. Literally NO quality control at this place and the employees are too often very comfortable with being overly familiar and unprofessional which is a huge indicator of no managerial or ownership oversight. I'm not a Karen who needs to be placed on a pedestal, but this is a standard business transaction, not a poker game. Leave your personal comments and snark at the punch-in clock.

Swiss was the Cady Wisconsin that was the cheapest and just as good as any other. A good amount of staff working the deli. The bread was close by. I like that I can get the house artisan brand as a half loaf. Different varieties as well. What I was really there for. I got hooked on Fever-Tree sparkling pink grapefruit water. It's a 4 pack in 6.8 oz. bottles. A small size, but at least it keeps you from feeling bloated. It's delicious and would be a good mixer base. They have a lot of different flavors. This is actually nice to look at. 35 calories and no artificial sweeteners. As you walk in is the cheese in the center. I passed this time, but my favorite brie is the Fromage brand. This seems like a smaller building than others which seems to make it less crazy. The check out experience was most memorable. Two of the coolest staff. One was so colorful, super friendly. She asked if I wanted the receipt. I almost passed then I spotted the thing where you donate your receipt. I donated to a local high school marching band. I was proud of that. The other was younger, still looked like a student who packed and took my bags to the trunk which I popped cause I had to use the rest room on the long schlep back to St. Paul. She seemed like she was glad to be there just to help me out. This makes me want a summer place here.

Things that are still there are 2x or more the price of what they were a year ago. Been getting lots of bad products. Last one was this fancy take and bake bread I like to use on pasta night. Moldy. And I look at the label here here's comes from Kanada. Cooking on pasta night I pull out some cheese I bought 3-4 weeks ago. Moldy. Today it was some Boarshead ham from last week. It's slimy and smells funky. It's not the same store or quality it was and founded on. I miss the old Kowalskis and I shop it frequently as I live 3 minutes away. I need to start using Byerlys more. Or go to the Excelsior store like when I run there at lunch while I'm at work.

Cheese is a serious hobby for me and I keep an extensive log, and I found more new cheeses here than I have found at any store in quite some time. The one frustration was at the self check-out. One of my cheeses wasn't in the system and another didn't have a weight that the computer scale liked, so the young man overseeing the registers had to keep coming over to help. He was very nice, but I felt badly about the continued hassle. I'd happily visit this and other Kowalski's locations for cheese! I should probably look around the rest of the store, too, because I'd probably find more things I liked.
