Kwik trip is hands down my favorite gas station. Food, gas, drinks they have it all. Gas pumps are easy to use. Food is usually fresh. Only problem is many times I've stopped by and they have no hot food (or they do but say it will be at least a 5 minute wait) which is disappointing when your running late to work and want some breakfast! Cashiers for the most part are always friendly. Only ran into a few who are grumpy. Ice cream is delicious, smoothies are amazing, hot food when they have it is great for "gas station food." read more

I had a disappointing experience yesterday at Kwik Trip on Dodd Blvd in Lakeville. I had an issue getting gas at the pump. While pumping gas, the gas started to quickly spray out of the nozzle and all over my car. I was attending the pump so I shut it off myself as quickly as I could. I simply went in to the store to report the problem and the cashier began to question/interrogate me on whether or not I was supervising the pump as "the sticker/notice on the pump" says I need to be. She then asked me 3 different times about how much gas spilled because "if it was too much they would have to call the fire department" and charge me for it. I was completely blind sided as I simply went in to report a problem with the pump and I was rudely ridiculed in front of all the other customers in line. I have never had an issue like this with a pump at any gas station and I can't believe I was blamed for it and threatened to have punitive damages assessed on me for it. I will never go to this gas station again which is by the way less than a mile from my house. I also doubt the pump issue was fixed or taken seriously. read more

Last Friday, I filled in gas at pump#2 with medium grade gas. Apparently the sensor at the pump did not work properly causing the gasoline to overflow the tank and stain my car, some overflew to the cement as well. Because on that day the road was wet, only the stains on car were visible. I reported this to the employee named John who later came to the scene and inspected the case. To my surprise, his response to me was "This is nothing big, the only thing I can do is to give you 20 cents refund." I was shocked by how rude he was in giving me that kind of response. As a loyal customer since 2010, in a case like this, I am not after the money. I was expecting an apology and professionalism from the Kwik Trip employees in handling the case. I escalated this issue to the manager Anita, who quickly solved the issue by offering me a free car wash in another Kwik Trip location. Overall, I am satisfied in the end. But a quick suggestion for Kwik Trip: train your personnel who have attitude problems like John. read more
