We decided to venture to your Sturtevant store to grab some food. The drive off the highway is a bit and kind of inconvenient, but the store is clean and team is kind so that makes it worth the drive. We grabbed an 8 piece fried chicken then at the register we asked for a family pack of boneless BBQ chicken wings and Allyssa advised she needed to check to see the kitchen was still open to cook those, and we bought a pizza to have cooked as well. We also grabbed some of the best muffins ever..my favorite is the double chocolate chip. What a great team as they handled all of our request and were super polite and professional about it. We went over and sat at the counter and started to eat our fried chicken while we waited for the rest of the food. The counter had a few crumbs, possibly from someone before us, but this store was very clean all around. Many thanks to the whole team for working together.

I walked inside and the cashier was supremely unhelpful, the best she could do was write an illegible name on top of my receipt and tell me to call later which I did. The person on the other end had no clue as to whom I was trying to contact and when I explained what had happened proceeded to blame me! He said that it had to have been my fault because I 1, needed to stand at the pump and 2, probably hadn't put the nozzle in properly so, my fault. WRONG. For a couple of reasons. I had JUST told him that I was standing at the pump when it failed, AND I have been pumping my own gasoline for a few decades so I think I understand how nozzle placement works by now! So, despite the fact that I live in the area, and frequent the station for sundries I will now be cutting them off and taking business to one of the other two stations across the road.

One half of the huge place is a place called Boss Burger, which looks like it has a pretty good fast food menu - burgers, Italian beef, fries - I wish I was hungry when I stopped but I wasn't. The other half is a convenience store with about 4 times the amount of everything you'd expect at a decent gas station. Huge walk in cooler, tons of snack options, even super long cables for purchase for charging your phone. The staff was really nice, too, and the bathrooms were kept up well. I'm shocked I'm writing a review for a gas station with a convenience store, but the place definitely deserved it.

Also, the hood of my car played victim to some stubborn fecal matter of the avian variety. While it felt like an overall clean experience afterwards, there was still some remaining remnants of the bird's last meal on my car. Not to say the car wash didn't do a decent job... maybe it just needs a 4th level of clean.
