You are clearly unwell and deserving of medications. You go in, you get whatever they got that looks appealing, you throw it on the counter. The cashier scans it. You pay for it. You leave. Hopefully with a minimum of fuss, line waiting, and conversation. We all know the drill by now. It is what it is. If you're giving it less than five stars for being anything other that what it is, that's a you-problem, because this is just what Kwik Trip does. Doesn't matter which one you go to. They're all the same. --However, when you find one of their frosted Persian doughnuts, and some kind soul has over-frosted that beast--there may not be anything finer on this planet. I am trying to avoid sugar as best I can, but if I see one of those Persians, and it's HEAPED with frosting, I will always, ALWAYS buy it. Those are my true Kwik Trip weakness. Everything else I can usually ignore, but those over-frosted Persians break me every time.

The car wash is also pretty backed up during lunch hours and later at night. The connivence store inside is always fully stocked and their hot items are cheap and pretty good. There's a krispy kreme self-serve station is always stoked in the morning but later at night it is kind of hit or miss on what kinds they have. They always have deals toward the end of the night of packs of donuts that are close to expiring!

Woodman's Market is a local Wisconsin brand of markets that puts every other market I have shopped at to shame. They are community focused and worker owned, which is really cool in today's corporate driven retail environment. In addition to their mission, they are solely grocery driven, meaning they focus on food, and lots of it...you will not find a wide variety of clothing, toys, seasonal items, etc...here, just food, lots and lots of food, and drinks. The store itself is MASSIVE, overwhelmingly so. However it is so thoughtfully laid out and spaced very well. Aisles are wide, sections are very clear and well defined and again, the selection is unreal. This is repeated throughout the store with every section from produce, veggies, snacks, frozen, meats, drinks, etc... In addition to the impressive variety of goods, Woodman's also has a gas station, service/lube station (oil changes), car wash and of course a well-stocked and good sized liquor store! Legit, everything. The store is well maintained conditionally and was very clean, inside and out. Service was top notch as well. From the cart attendance to the stock associate to the cashier...all were great! Overall, Woodman's Market is currently my favorite grocery store in the country. And I am honestly willing to throw hands over it. In addition to restaurants and other spaces I visit when in WI, Woodman's is always considered a priority stop!

Some things I love about Woodman's: * It's employee-owned, and every employee I've come across has been happy and helpful to chat with. * They are all laid out about the same. For example, I know that I can usually find the cheese curds (something else we typically stop for to give to others back home) in the cases near the back wall. * It's clean. * There is a wide variety of items, including produce and locally made products. * The attached liquor store is also easy to find your way around in. Like others have mentioned, Woodman's does not take most credit cards, so be sure to have cash on hand.

I stop at Oconomowoc on Brown Street and filled up a Honda Fit, $35.75. that was about 1:30 Sunday, July 12. At 6 pm July 12 I just wanted to check my bank account. It had the $35.75 and it also had$125.00 charge pending at Kwik Trip. I drove back to that Kwik Trip and they told me they do that , the manager at the time did not know why but if it does not come off to stop back down??? Why do they put a $125. 00 charge on your card ? if they do that to everybody, they make a lot of money just hold that money overnight. I heard from several people that I know that work at Kwik trip that said since dad retired the son took over and is making changes to the business that just load up his pocketbook and this is obviously one of them , putting $125.00 charge on your debit card for a $35.75 dollar charge. I hope the dad reads this , I am also contacting the BBB and my Congressman because this does not seem to be ok!!!!!

It is your typical Kwik Trip full of amazing prepared KT food, stocked shelves, and smiling employees. The women's bathroom had just been cleaned and the entire store was in good shape. Overall, another great KT stop. Will most likely stop here again as I travel west on I94.
