Unfortunately you don't need any kind of licensing or accreditation to cut down 2 ton trees. So be careful ! They will give you a price that is much lower than their competitors asking for 1/2 down because they only plan on completing 1/2 the work- they pay help by the day to avoid paying any employees benefits and they ask for cash to avoid paying taxes. Don't trust them on their word! You must have the agreement in writing and still be prepared to take him to court. They care more about their image, posting selfies, merch, & advertising for new jobs, than completing the jobs they already have (which is evident by their yelp reviews). Like many of the reviews my yard was left 1/2 done while he is offering free work to other people!
