And because they were clearly too busy to check her properly or just given me the antibiotics to clear the infection first, or not put her under for so long knowing she has a heart condition and was 13! she might still be alive. And.....I have attempted to get the notes from that day 5 times, that I need from the manager apparently and ....no response each time!!! I still struggle because I wasn't with her when she needed me and was scared, I never got to say goodbye. You rushed her off so quickly and couldn't wait to get me out of the door and all I remember were her frightened eyes. My gut told me I shouldn't have left her and I wish I hadn't. You didn't even call untill she had been gone for 40 mins. I could have rushed in to be with her.

Now the practise itself is as welcoming as the staff. Andrew really knows his stuff and the animal's welfare is paramount for him. The charges have been reduced and they now do homeopathic remedies along with the medical ones. I would never trust my animals anywhere else!

My Mum and Dad have been going to this vet for about 14 years. They have helped us with Oliver…read more(cat), Felix (cat), Henry (dog), Doris (chicken), Pheobe (cat), Tabitha (cat) and Rosie (cat) over the years and being such animal lovers that we are they alway are sensitive. We have even called them up in the middle of the night with an injured bird that one of the cats have brought in and they never seem phased or troubled by this. They can be expensive if you don't have pet insurance but you know that your animal is being looked after. There is a nice little car park outside so it's not not traumatic getting your animal there and they have really helpful reception staff. Thank you Moor Cottage!

Today they went the extra mile as on our way to have there boosters we got a flat tyre, they was so helpful let us sit in the waiting room offered us cups of tea and gave our dogs beds to lie on while we waited for breakdown service to change tyre on our car. They dealt with her ultimate death and the death of two of our cats with respect and kindness, which is the hardest part of being a pet owner. We were always very happy with wait times for appointments--they were often able to see us the same day for pressing matters. The knowledge and honesty of their vets was vast, and always appreciated. I highly recommend their Redhill and Reigate practices to anyone who loves their animals.

I like that this is a small practice with staff who genuinely care about the animals rather than profit which can be a problem with some of the larger chain type of practices. I have always managed to get a same day appointment when needed one of my cats is often getting himself into scrapes and has needed quite a few visits over the years. I do find this to be a lovely friendly caring place and we will continue to use it for as long as we have animals.

I have small rodents and so you worry that vets are only interested in cats and dogs, but everyone here has been very good and have helped keep my pets happy and healthy. They are also willing to try new treatments and will take suggestions from me about suitable medication or treatment. Prices are reasonable and very fair (eg they don't tend to charge for a quick check up if your pet has already seen the vet for the same thing).

Even as Fluffikins tries to tear Kevin's (chief fluffy-whisperer at AV) face off, he is gentle, practical and works round individual circumstances to find solutions. And when it comes to the difficult decisions I know their priority is doing the right thing by my pet. It's an aspect we don't like to think about for obvious reasons but it's a really vital one, and I trust every vet in this practice to guide me to the right decision. Then mop up the bawling. They were equally fantastic when we called them in the small hours of the morning after witnessing a cat being run over, took the cat to the vets and they saw to it. They even gave us a courtesy call the next day to update us on the cat.

We've experienced both home visits and office visits for a cat and a dog and been more than impressed with the service. Chris is our primary veterinarian and he is amazing, but we've also worked with Mel and she is equally great. I would recommend this clinic wholeheartedly to any animal lover.
