My first visit to LáTaste in Prattville. It is a family owned restaurant that feels like home. The service was very prompt and professional. I was seated right away. The waitress was so sweet, welcoming, and helpful. The food was very good. I got the egg rolls and 3 meat Pho and Thai Tea. I will be returning! Thank you for the great service and food!

This is my 3rd time because I wanted tone sure I was being fair with my previous rating and review. The portions do not match the price at all. Very expensive for what you get. My total for both was 42.64 which wouldn't be a problem if it was actually the dinner portion, this is a lunch portion at best but definitely not dinner. This review is not about the taste because it is good my issue however is with the price when considering the portions.

Really looked forward to going here, but we checked the OLD menu - which was fine. Pho is a few dollars more, however we decided to be adventurous and try the Hue Spicy Noodle for 20 bucks - unpleasantly surprised... I'm usually adventurous and I like trying different foods - I promise this isn't just a white girl complaining. It tasted REALLY fishy....and it's like beef and pork.... Idk Maybe the pho is great, probably should've just gotten that :( On the bright side, it was enough to split for sure... neither of us liked it though Side note; not very spicy so if you're scared don't worry about it (you can add more chilies) Ambience was funny - jazzy disney covers were playing which I enjoyed.

I ordered a #36. Vietnamese Milk Coffee for $8 and it's not even filled to the top.

Ordered a Vietnamese milk Iced coffee for $8 and it was not even filled to the top. The pho was good but the portion was on the smaller size for $15.

Finally some Flavor! My friend and I went to La Taste this Wednesday for dinner. So far, it's been our favorite meal since arriving to Alabama. We ordered the spring rolls, egg rolls, and the grilled pork noodles. The spring rolls were delicious. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the peanut dipping sauce was great. The egg rolls with nuoc cham came out hot and crispy with fresh lettuce and mint. The rice noodle bowls had a lot of flavor and it was a generous portion. This restaurant is a small family owned restaurant and the co-owner that we met was so friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for some fresh, flavorful, herbaceous food.

Combination noodle so good . Also tried their HUE SPICE NOODLE , i love the soup !! So refreshing

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how warm and inviting the atmosphere felt--clean, cozy, and just the right amount of laid-back charm. It was the kind of place that instantly makes you want to sit back and stay awhile. Let's talk about the service--top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made me feel valued as a customer. You can tell they care about every detail and take pride in the experience they're providing. Now, the food... whew. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Drunken Noodles, and the Steamed Dumplings. Each dish came out fresh, hot, and bursting with flavor. The Pad Thai had the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and a little kick. The Drunken Noodles? Bold, spicy, and beautifully layered with tender chicken and veggies. And those dumplings? Soft, juicy, and packed with flavor--easily some of the best I've ever had. Everything from start to finish was a 10/10. If you're looking for incredible food, excellent service, and a vibe that makes you want to come back again and again--this is the spot.

They aren't bad, just not sure if I'd order them again. Pad See Ew was interesting. They either skimped on the sauce or it was absorbed into everything. I asked for no additional spice and it still had a kick. Not a deal breaker, just expected it to be sweeter like traditional Pad See Ew. The meat was very tender. I got a second protein and added extra vegetables. They were pretty overcooked and mushy. The noodles were more like small square pieces of dough versus true noodles. My husband said the Massaman curry was good and had good heat. Smaller portion than we are used to from other Thai places, but not a big deal. Overall, would probably try this place again and get something different, but will also look for other Thai restaurants to try first.
