#1 best place to eat some amazing Pho. Nothing but the best customer service and good energy in the place. Always like to go there with my boyfriend.

My first visit to LáTaste in Prattville. It is a family owned restaurant that feels like home. The service was very prompt and professional. I was seated right away. The waitress was so sweet, welcoming, and helpful. The food was very good. I got the egg rolls and 3 meat Pho and Thai Tea. I will be returning! Thank you for the great service and food!

This is my 3rd time because I wanted tone sure I was being fair with my previous rating and review. The portions do not match the price at all. Very expensive for what you get. My total for both was 42.64 which wouldn't be a problem if it was actually the dinner portion, this is a lunch portion at best but definitely not dinner. This review is not about the taste because it is good my issue however is with the price when considering the portions.

Really looked forward to going here, but we checked the OLD menu - which was fine. Pho is a few dollars more, however we decided to be adventurous and try the Hue Spicy Noodle for 20 bucks - unpleasantly surprised... I'm usually adventurous and I like trying different foods - I promise this isn't just a white girl complaining. It tasted REALLY fishy....and it's like beef and pork.... Idk Maybe the pho is great, probably should've just gotten that :( On the bright side, it was enough to split for sure... neither of us liked it though Side note; not very spicy so if you're scared don't worry about it (you can add more chilies) Ambience was funny - jazzy disney covers were playing which I enjoyed.

I ordered a #36. Vietnamese Milk Coffee for $8 and it's not even filled to the top.

Ordered a Vietnamese milk Iced coffee for $8 and it was not even filled to the top. The pho was good but the portion was on the smaller size for $15.

It was not the case. For $9, I expected that Vietnamese Iced coffee to be spectacular, instead it had me questioning if it was pre-made. The $17 vermicelli bowl, which I usually love in the summer because it is fresh and cool and light, came to my table with hot noodles, and consequently, cooked cucumbers. The pork was spongy in a way that I haven't experienced before. The spring rolls were the least offensive thing we ordered, but they were void of any flavor. Where are the fresh herbs?? I normally wouldn't even write a review for a small business like this, but this isn't good Vietnamese food and I hope to warn the next person driving south through Montgomery looking for a quick, light, flavorful, fresh meal. Find something else. Wait until you pass though New Orleans and try ordering Vietnamese again there. p.s. The name has changed to Pho Life, maybe the pho is good, but, the bun is not. And charging $9 for an iced coffee is too much.

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how warm and inviting the atmosphere felt--clean, cozy, and just the right amount of laid-back charm. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made me feel valued as a customer. You can tell they care about every detail and take pride in the experience they're providing. Now, the food... whew. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Drunken Noodles, and the Steamed Dumplings. Each dish came out fresh, hot, and bursting with flavor. The Pad Thai had the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and a little kick. The Drunken Noodles? Bold, spicy, and beautifully layered with tender chicken and veggies. And those dumplings? Soft, juicy, and packed with flavor--easily some of the best I've ever had. Everything from start to finish was a 10/10. If you're looking for incredible food, excellent service, and a vibe that makes you want to come back again and again--this is the spot.

Food was amazing as well, I wish they had a broken rice plate with short ribs because that's what I'm familiar with at Vietnamese restaurants, but the marinated beef I got was good, it was more of a bulgogi beef but it was packed with flavor. The mixed vegetables with chicken were pretty good as well, it was packed with flavor, chicken was tender. Now onto the chicken curry, this by far was the best dish on their menu, they only have 1 curry dish and it is a must have, it's like a Papang curry and it's so good. I did try the pho and it was alright, I've tasted better phos but nothing beats the curry here! Thai tea was good but for the price of it I wished it was in a bigger cup, they put it in a slanted cup and it was weird but you could take probably 3-5 sips and it'll be gone. The place was very clean, it was busy when we went so that probably means the food is good. Overall, if you're in the area, check this place out you won't be disappointed!

I arrived to pick up a DoorDash order and entered the restaurant without being greeted by any employee. I sat down, assuming that someone would eventually ask if I needed assistance. During that time, two separate groups entered the restaurant and were immediately greeted and acknowledged. Meanwhile, multiple employees looked directly at me and continued to ignore me. After waiting approximately 15 minutes, I finally received the order, but only after the customer I was delivering for called the restaurant. When the food was handed to me, I politely mentioned to the employee that I had not been greeted when I arrived, despite other customers being acknowledged right away. Rather than addressing my concern, the employee refused to give me the order and called over the owner or manager. When he asked what the issue was, I explained that I simply wanted to bring attention to the fact that I had not been acknowledged when I entered the restaurant. He responded by saying that he knew I was a DoorDash driver and that the food was not ready. I asked how he could have known I was a DoorDash driver if no one had ever greeted or spoken to me. Instead of answering the question, he asked if I was going to take the food or not and told me I needed to leave because he was tired of dealing with me. He then began raising his voice, insisting that my wait was due to the food not being ready. I repeatedly explained that my concern was never the wait time. I understand that food preparation takes time. My issue was that no one acknowledged me when I arrived. Without speaking to me, the staff had no way of knowing whether I was a DoorDash driver, a customer dining in, or someone else needing assistance. Despite my attempts to clarify my concern, I was again told to leave because he did not want to deal with me. What should have been a simple conversation about customer service and acknowledgment became an unnecessarily hostile interaction. As a result, I will not be returning to this establishment and wanted to share my experience.
