From the time I parked and was back in my car it was 8 minutes. The esthetician greeted me and I followed her to the room. She asked for me to take off my top and lie down, but she didn't leave the room. She put the wax on and it was very hot. Then boom no countdown or nothing! She was done so quick! I put my shirt on, tipped, and left. When I was in the car my underarms were so sore, and the pain lasted for about two days. Not to mention that there was still hair left after all that pain. Then, I started to notice my underarms getting darker and darker. I value quality over speed and this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had.

I was the only customer in the place and came wearing my mask. Good start! Megan greeted me kindly but was not wearing a mask. AGH! The sheet covering the table did not seem clean (pink stains, darker areas). Megan, as she hovered above me, also went on to tell me that she thought the virus was blown out of proportion and only those who are at risk should wear a mask. I told her I was wearing a mask for others, not myself. She was nice but I was pretty on edge and taken aback by her brushing off science and personal responsibility. As for my actual brows, they look fine. I had to ask her to actually tweeze some hairs instead of just wax. Face coverings are mandated by the state right now. I felt pretty uncomfortable that she did not wear a mask to protect me and other clients. I should have said something or left. I didn't.
