I went in on my lunch hour and the lady barber was just finishing up another customer and called me over as soon as she'd cleaned up. I sat down and explained I wanted a basic businessman's cut and she got to work. A short time later, I emerged with a nice, balanced cut. And as an extra touch, once they shave your neck, you get a hot towel! If you haven't experienced that, maybe it sounds silly but boy, does it FEEL great! Price was reasonable: $20 for the cut. If you combine other services like shampoo or beard trim, they offer package deals. Couldn't be happier.

I got an appointment for the next day and Chelsea did my hair. Regular shampoo and then she cut it pretty much how I wanted. She tried an angled cut but did it so that if I decided I didn't like it, she could make it all even and not too short. I really appreciated that- I don't always know how a cut will look on me so it's nice to get a preview and then go with something else (similar) if it's not what you wanted. She was very nice and listened to what I wanted. The layering was a little bit rough compared to what I've had done at salons in the past but it doesn't look bad by any means. Just different than what I'm used to. The instructor comes by to approve the cut after the cutting is done so that's comforting. I paid $11 (not including a tip) for a great haircut so I highly recommend this if you're needing some trimming or want to get a new look on a budget. I'm not sure if I'd be comfortable trying something bold/difficult at a school like this but for simple cuts it was a really great option!
