Our experience with the service department started out good but ended horribly. We were told the vehicle would be ready in the late afternoon however when we arrived to pick it up we were told to wait we waited for over an hour to discover that our vehicle was sitting in the parking lot ready and waiting. When I went to the service counter to inquire about getting the keys I was told by two ladies that they could not give me my keys as I had to wait for the service advisor and he wasn't there. My keys were sitting on the desk and they were extremely rude and dismissive. I will not be back to service any of my vehicles at this location. read more

Although my review isn't about my purchase it is about the overall attitude that this dealer seems to have towards customers but also towards potential new employees. I made a special effort to accommodate the sales managers requested time for the interview and rushed from another interview only to arrive promptly on time and find out he was in a meeting and he would be with me shortly. I waited 15 minutes and it looked like the meeting was ongoing so I walked. I've been a successful sales professional for over 30 years and this is a symptom of a much larger problem. read more

I put a deposit on a vehicle on Dec 1st. I changed my mind on Dec 2nd and asked for a refund. I've been given the run around; still no refund and it's been 3 weeks. Before I just gave one star and you said I am relative of your competitors so let me tell you in detail, we bought Nissan qashqai 2019 on 30 th April if you want to check in your records in name of Hiten Patel. We traded in our old Nissan Sentra which again we bought from your store. So what is happening is we are still paying for old Sentra and new qashqai as our loan was not canceled as per promised. So I called in after 20 days ie 19th to confirm that what about the loan for old car, why are we still getting charged for that..! So I got reply that we will look into it and give you a call back.. I DID NOT GET ANY CALL BACK .So I called again after 10 days and what I heard was that our finance department was busy they will give you a call back ASAP... Again I NEVER GOT A CALL BACK. So I called in 3 rd time and they transferred me to finance department and when I asked about loan they said it should be done on 1 st May itself check might have been misplaced. So I told them that it's their responsibility and what I got reply was THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO SELL OLD SENTRA WHICH WE TRADED IT !!! I mean does that have any thing to do with us we traded in our old car if you didn't wanted that you should have said no , Is This an excuse that old Sentra is not selling so you won't cancel our loan ? And when we try to talk you guys say we are competitors ? PLEASE CONFIRM WITH YOUR STAFF BEFORE SAYING THAT WE ARE YOU COMPETITORS OR ANY THING AS YOU LOST YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMER. WE TRUSTED FOR YOUR SERVICE AND WE ARE DISAPPOINTED. WE WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO GIVE THE CAR BACK AND TAKE OLD SENTRA. SO LISTEN TO CUSTOMERS TO UNDERSTAND NOT JUST REPLY. These guys are a joke. Went in to look at a vehicle and it was already sold. Was asked to sit down and conisder other vehicles. So I told them my monthly price range and they said no problem and after wasting an hour they come back with offers $100 over my monthly price range. I still was convinced to take the vehicle home for a few days to hopefully change my mind. And when I returned the vehicle and decided to take my business elsewhere they said they'd send my deposit I put to test drive the vehicle. It's a month and a half later and still no deposit has been mailed to me. Ryan, a salesman, proceeded to accuse me of not checking my mail when I contacted them about not having my deposit sent back thru mail as promised. I highly recommend everyone take their business elsewhere. These guys are delusional and crooked.. read more

After having a teleconference with Nissan Canada andan arbitrator, in my opinion, Nissan is nothing more a corporation who manufactures and sells a very poor quality product without any regard for the people buying it. Rest assured, Nissan has lost my confidence in their ability to engineer, build and sell a vehicle that can actually perform a very basic function. Is it really asking too much to expect that a vehicle can produce a sufficient amount of heat to clear windows and keep the occupants comfortable, during our winter months? Then, say it is not considered defective, because all 2019 Qashqais perform the same way, is really a manipulation of words, in my opinion. Nissan admits the heating issue is a result of poor engineering. However, will not do anything about it. My dispute may have come to an end, but I will make sure that anyone that is in the market for a vehicle will be aware of Nissan's response to my issue. I look forward to the day that I am able to trade off my Qashqai. As a dealer for Nissan, you have made it clear to me, that you place no value on your customers once they have taken ownership of their vehicle. This experience starts off as one of the best ever in the purchase of a vehicle but goes very bad on the second visit. Our sales person was Adam (very nice young man, highly recommended) then we met the Sales Manager (Dustin) and he was amazing! He understood our situation and was extremely helpful (while juggling 4 other customers) Dustin was determined to help us and somehow he managed to find us the right vehicle from one of their other lots. He worked very hard and it was very appreciated. The deal happened Saturday and needed to be finalized Monday. On Monday, Dustin is not in and a brand new person called me (Will) and told me everything is approved and come in. Only to get there and have him try to switch vehicles on us. Bring in the GM (Can't remember his name let's just call him A$$hole) the lies started with Will telling me to come and pick up my vehicle to the GM telling me I got declined from 24 banks. Then he said I am only 1 in 10000 people that would be upset that they switched vehicles on me. It is such a shame there was so much honesty in the beginning and such huge lies in the end. This is the first GM of any company I have ever met that swore at me. He told me I was being f***ing unreasonable and he doesn't give a s**t about my business. He told me he only deals with happy customer and told me to leave. There was actually yelling through his dealership and he didn't seem to care. He was then sarcastic and ignorant as he returned my deposit. read more

I first contacted LA Nissan about three weeks ago. Ellwood F. From LA Nissan contacted me immediately, sent me a video of the vehicle I was interested in, and he took the time to address the video to 'me'. I was at work and could not make it to the dealership for a bit so to ensure I had the best 'view' of the vehicle, Ellwood went above and beyond. I eventually made it to their office, but the vehicle I was Interested in wasn't available for viewing/test drive. Without a hesitation Ellwood and Anthony (sales manager) right away got another one that was even better. I had two trade ins, Anthony and Ellwood both worked very hard and getting me the most for my trade ins despite few obstacles on my end, they remained very patient, accommodating and each time I went there or called they always tried to outdo their previous service. They never gave up. I have never had better experience buying a vehicle than I did at LA Nissan. Never once did I feel 'pressured' or 'pushed'. From reception to finance department, entire LA Nissan team made sure that my time was utilized and not wasted. Special thank you to Ellwood, Anthony, Dave and Jordon! Incredible team. I purchased my vehicle from LA Nissan and it was a great experience. The problem came when I needed servicing because of the cold snap we just had in Alberta. I was at the lake with my family...long story short battery died and block heater cord could not be found. Road side assistance guy came got my vehicle started and suggested we start the vehicle every couple of hours...well we did that the first night and that was enough...so the family cut the holiday short and came back to the city and on our way back we could not heat the vehicle. Today I brought my vehicle to LA Nissan today. Talked with the service manager Dallas and he was very good. The vehicle got in, I asked for a oil change which they did. I asked them to look at the thermostat, block heater and battery. The Block heater cord had to be re-routed was stuck under the skid plate and was very hard to find. Thermostat was heating too slowly...determined TSTAT staying open too long on road test and required a new one. Battery performance was ok and they were originally not going to change it, suggested I come back in just before the warranty was up. I asked them to install a hitch for the inconvenience then. The Service manager said they would not and I told him that I was not happy and see how they treat their customers and that I may just give a review of my services. Dallas goes to his general manager and they call me in...I explain what happened again as asked by general manager. He began by telling how his friend has a $600,000 Lamborghini and he has trouble with it. Talked about trouble happens and it is the responsibility of the owner and vehicles have wear and tear. The vehicle is a 2015 with 39,000 km on it. I told him it is the responsibility of Nissan to replace a battery and thermostat that failed. The general Manager said that it was a false statement. I was fuming inside at that point. The vehicle is under warranty...who's responsibility is it? Then the general manager proceeded to tell me he heard that I was going to go on social media and give them a bad review...I told him if I am not happy with the service I have all the right as a human being to do so and that I had not made up my mind on it. He then threatened that he did not want to change the thermostat and battery because I might be giving them a bad review...can you believe it??? I told him the threat was not helping the situation and suggested that he stop the service work and that I would just bring it to another dealership...at that point I would have preferred to leave but it was 5 hours in. It was the most horrible experience I every had. The general manager was the rudest person I have dealt with. His mannerism was completely condescending. I told him that a family member of mine was a mechanic and the service guy they sent me could not find the block heater cord and he said they couldn't have been good mechanics and wouldn't want them working on his vehicle....excuse me???? It was a service guy from the Nissan Road side assistance program, was -40 and they were also following the instructions of the LA Nissan worker that was on the phone. The cord actually had to be rerouted at the dealership and was no where near where they were saying it should have been. I completely understood that I was not getting a tow hitch...it was an ask to see if I would get it. They were under no obligation to give me anything other than replacing the faulty parts, but because he of his attitude that they were changing the parts out of the goodness of their hearts...really the warrantied parts that were faulty? He stood there with paperwork in his hand and gave me a face as he ripped it up...then extended his hand and said forcefully with a snear "Happy New year". I was completely flabbergasted. The Service Manager came out of his office shortly after more conversation with the general manager with the paperwork for the oil change $109 dollars....so all the inconvenience, the rude general manager, five hours waiting and they charged for the oil change. I will never grace the doors of the dealership again. The Service Manager was great...really wanted to be accommodating but the General Manager needs to take some classes on how to treat customers. read more

The sales team gave me lower than rock bottom trade in value and now have this unit advertised in the newspaper for $7,000 more than they gave me for it. I was trying to buy a car from the dealership. They took my $500 deposit. The transaction didn't happen. And for some reason when I called about the deposit they never try to return my deposit. It is the manager from the used car Department money hungry .Anyway I don't recommend this dealership. I still have the receipt to show and no transaction . It was just going through the process to bank approval. Don't trust this dealership. I will find out the name of the manager and on next review I will write what exactly he said. While being pressured into purchasing an SUV (infiniti) used vehicle, when salesman asked for a credit card to secure the vehicle, my wife and I asked if it was going to be an issue if i wanted to get my deposit back, he stated that it should be fine. I found exactly the same Infiniti at different dealership and it was a reasonable price. Then after several phone calls and unreturned messages to the general manager at L.A Nissan regarding the manner and other dealer is offering reasonable price.I was finally contacted by the sales manager then i explain to him that he should drop his price down becauce the economy is not the greatest at this point. He stated back to me and said *He doesnt give a S**t all he cares is how to get money from people. And whatever happens after is my own problem. Basically he sounds like a typical scam artist! Funny thing is we would have bought the car if it was simply sold for the reasonable price.We wanted to pay a little bit less not the one that he listed.All in all it was a quite poor experience. read more
