I have had the pleasure of riding a few times now in these cars, and everything about the experience is positive. The cars themselves are lovely. I have riden in a beautiful black Mercedes on my transfers, that is extremely clean and well maintained. There was a bottle of water in the back seat waiting for me. One particular driver, named Granville was extremely polite, and when I initiated conversation, he was extremely good company. I have made a point to request him on future transfers when he is available. I had the misfortune of leaving my ipad accidently in the back seat. I flew to Ireland on the Friday, and it must have fallen out of my bag. I emailed the company right away and received a very fast response, that Granville had found it and would pick me up on Sunday on my return to London with the ipad. When he picked me up, the ipad had no change in battery life, so not only did he collect it and redeliver it, he didn't use it at all. My communications with the office have been extremely fast and efficient. A big thank you, and positive shout out to Shana for being friendly, helpful and efficient in our dealings. Their drivers are professional, friendly, helpful, and do everything in their power to make the passenger(s) comfortable. We've been fortunate enough to have the same driver(s) year after year, a testimony to how well this business is run. (Our recent driver remembered us from 2 years ago, where we were going, and even the airline we flew). Empire's customer terms are very generous - they trust the customer rather than being suspicious that we're trying to cheat - and their price point is more than fair. The vehicles always fit the amount of luggage and number of passengers we designate, they're on time, they answer any and every question no matter how picky (we're old, so we often ask picky questions), and they do it all with a smile even if we're cranky from an overnight flight and little sleep. Our entire family is coming back to the UK over the holidays and we intend to book with Empire.
