L&L did a fine job on my cement patio I commissioned. Lloyd, the owner, came out for a quote that was right in line with others. He was also great at explaining different options and pros/cons of certain things, such as whether you want to attach to the foundation. Lloyd's son, Luis, came out with 1 other guy and knocked out the whole thing in 1 day. Luis was also friendly and helpful, and spoke perfect English which always helps. Looks great, the 1 complaint I have is that the color of the cement is not close to the existing patio. I thought it was understood to make it closer color-wise. read more

We had a great experience with our project with L & L Concrete Contractors. We needed to repair/replace our curb & gutter along the street, our front sidewalk and the walkway to the home. I contacted L&L Concrete Contractors and got an appointment scheduled 4 days later. Lloyd Lozano arrived on time and was very friendly. We discussed what we needed to have done but not sure what kind of price we were looking at. Lloyd said he will provide us a bid to show the price to 'repair' the existing concrete and a price to 'replace' the existing contrete. Within days, I receved an email from Angel with the bid attached. The bid was broken down and very easy to understand; the prices were reasonable. I had addition questions and Angel answered them clearly and promptly. I was contacted by both Lloyd and Angel to let me know the project start date. Once the project started, it went like clockwork. Each day, the workers arrived to complete the tasks for that day and progress continued each day until the project was complete. The workers were very respectful and there was minimal disruption to our property. I can't say enough good stuff about Lloyd Lozano. What a stand up guy. He's been doing this since 1994, and is still passionate about his work. He really, truly wants to help you improve your outdoor space. I asked my handyman, who was there for the onsite consultation, if everything Lloyd said in his analysis, suggestions, and bid was making sense. Steve said, "100%". Steve doesn't say that about anybody! Lloyd charged a great price, his workers were professional and did a fantastic job, and they knocked it out in 3 days. "Beware of the man that wears a two-inch CROSS" For a "Man" that claims to be a Christian this man has NO integrity, Morals and his word is meaningless. My wife and I Contracted with L & L Concrete Contractors this summer to pour a "bulkhead cap" on our lot at Lake Livingston. Things started well with the owner even asking if he could bring his family to the lot to camp for the weekend. We were O.K. with this request. The second week into the project (we were originally told it would be a 3-5 day project) the crews stopped showing up to work. We live 100 miles from the property so this entire ordeal took countless trips and several days of PTO to monitor and verify. The owner told us the crew leader was pulled over and did not have a TDL, therefore he could not come to work on our project. A few days later the owner called me to tell me he was "Breaking our Contract"...... because he couldn't make any money. This was after we had paid him a substantial down payment to secure the contract. He said we could work directly with his "sub-contractor" to complete the job. We proceeded with the sub since they had started the project. This proved to be extremely challenging since they spoke no ENGLISH and our Spanish is very limited. After we proceeded with the "Sub" he told us he needed more money for materials and labor or he too would walk the job. Against our better judgment we relinquished. Ultimately after countless lies, not showing up, inadequate materials and poor workmanship we cut our losses and went our separate ways. Bad work to start to end, please do not make the same mistake I did , This company did a very bad work in my house , the crew do not speak English ,Mr Lloyd only show up to collect money after that not work supervision , Im speak Spanish but crew was so rude when I ask something, my stamp concrete around the pool was so bad that now we can not use the pool cause is so slippery my husband and a friend already fall , I call a slip specialist that get surprise for the bad work they did , recommend to contact Mr. Lloyd to ask him to honor his work warranty and do it right, in order to do it right they need to strip off all the sealer and use the correct antislip product not sand and apply it the correct way with a good sealer product, Im still waiting for this company to do it , please also write down everything, the most you right the best chances you have to make a claim , the color of my stamp concrete was not the one I choose, they ruin my back yard also my pool was so dirt because they did not protect it , crew let trash all around my yard, after 25000 dls work Im very unhappy, PLEASE BE AWARE and do not make the same mistakes to hire this company read more

Our job with L&L Concrete Contractors was a driveway and curb replacement. From the beginning to the end, every single person on this job was a pleasure to deal with. Our first contact by phone with Angel set up a visit the very next day with Lloyd Lozano, who showed us all the options and gave us a bid on the spot. Once they obtained the necessary permit, the job began within a few days. We chose a stamped flagstone finish and the driveway came out absolutely beautiful. They even repaired our drain before replacing the curb in front of the house. After the installation was complete, they sealed the driveway and cleaned up everything.
