OR you can save yourself time, money, and anxiety by calling a locksmight like Toby over at Asheville Locksmith Now. Talk about an artist. A man devoted to his craft. I was given Toby's number when another locksmith heard what type of vehicle I was hoping to get a replacement key for, advising me there was only one guy in town who could help me out, and boy am I glad that he referred me... Toby answered promptly, and arrived at my property the following morning. My vehicle is the worst. Seriously, nothing with it is easy. I've had people scream and refuse to work on it when I tell them I drive a 2006 Buick Rendesvouz. It's NOTORIOUS for being a complicated jerk, through and through, and although it handed Toby its fair share of challenges and mysteries, he wasn't daunted. Rather than being frustrated, he drilled down, diagnosed the hiccups, found solutions, and before I knew it I was holding 3 replacement keys and a new remote, for less than the price he originally quoted me. Mark is knowledgeable, efficient, timely, affordable, professional and quite effective…read more He came same-day and patiently replaced cylinders in my home exterior locks, and chose the best-fitting key they he had on hand. It helped Mark to initially speak by phone then to text him photos of my existing locks and dead bolts. This showed what brand and type they are. While here, as a bonus he gave input on brand quality, and degree of lock security. i.e. It's unusually good to have two dead bolts on the front door. Also, the six-pin (six cuts) lock I had there is top of the line, and even better than a more standard five-cut lock. But as he noted, ultimately a door's frame is its weakest part. He prioritized my call to same-day out of my concern that an intruder might have a copy of the old key and gotten in ... and since I was about to go out of town, I was vulnerable to more intrusions. Irish-born Mark has been in this area for about 20 years. He is based in Mills River. He is pleasant-minded, inquisitive, and insightful. I fully recommend him.
