I wish I could have taken them with me when I moved, as I have yet to find an animal hospital that even comes close to Rose City. Dr Campbell is great and you can see that she isn't in it purely for the money. Her staff is great as well. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They take their time with you and your pet. They actually have personalities (unlike some places) and you see the same staff every time you go in. I had to put down my 14 year old cat after learning that she had an aggressive and quickly progressing cancer. Dr Campbell was very honest about it, and didn't try to get me to spend thousands of dollars when she knew it was unlikely my cat would survive (and would suffer needlessly). They gave us plenty of time to mourn her body in the examining room after she was put to sleep. They are very affordable. Their prices are more than fair for the amount of effort and caring they put into taking care of your pet's health. No upselling, no lying and no BS about your pet. I miss this place!

I ended up having to rush him to emergency where the vet there had to give him cortisone shots to alleviate the fluid pushing against his nerves in his little nasal cavity and she prescribed the medication I previously requested from Dr. Campbell, who had said she could not administer to him because "it's only for dogs". Sure as rain this cured my kitten. Flash forward to Nov. 2016 my 10 year old cat had dropped weight drastically (7lbs in 2 months) and loosing clumps of fur. Dr. Campbell did blood work and deemed him "perfectly healthy" and didn't even try to find out a reason for his sudden decline. He continued losing weight and I took him to another vet who determined he was not even close to healthy. Long story short, three months after he was given a clean bill of health from Dr. Campbell, I am sitting here looking at the urn containing the ashes of my much loved best friend. For my son's wedding, Stephanie came and picked the dogs up at our house. They were brushed and looking their best and she brought them to the venue for me. The dogs were there for the ceremony and some photos and then Stephanie took them back home and stayed with them. It was such a relief, not having to worry about the dogs during such an important day. We were able to fully enjoy the wedding, knowing they were being so well cared for. I can't recommend Stephanie enough.

I was wrong) I then told her whatever the package included. She told me okay see you in an hour. I go on my way and 1.5 hour later I walk in and pay over 70$. I see my dog and he's the same length around and still wet. The groomer explains "he wouldn't stay still for anything, he didn't listen to my commands, and I couldn't do anything" I wasn't shocked as my dog is an anxious pet. I spoke with the front desk lady to explain to her how disappointed I was about my experience with Ruffins and she told me a supervisor would call me back as soon as she can. I Left irritated, I received a-call the next day from the groomer.. . She explained to me that she couldn't do anything on him due to the safety of my dog. That's fine, why was I still charged for the whole service 73.50$ and why was he late coming out if he didn't get groomed? She then starts to claim that they charge per time taken on the dogs. I then repeated myself and said "okay so it took 1.5 to bath my dog? And he didn't get groomed" I should have been called the minute you knew he wasn't able to get groomed. After the convo the actual supervisor called me and apologized and offered me a refund of the haircut. I went to pick up the refund today and it was $17.00.... So I guess the bath costed over $55.00.
