I had to replace washer/dryer valves before my new ones could be installed. After plumber completed his part, Sal built a washer/dryer box. I wish I had taken a picture of it, but machines are in front now and can't see it. Sal did a great job! Phil and his team are marvelous! After getting multiple opinions and quotes, I knew that L & S Painting was who I wanted to paint the exterior of my home. His quote was very attractive, came in significantly below some of the other quotes, and included items some of the other quotes didn't include. We got several bids from professionals and hired Phil and his crew to paint the inside of our home. They did an outstanding job and kept on schedule and budget. They painted two bedrooms, bathrooms, the living room, kitchen, laundry and garage. They also did our outside doors. L & S Painting Contractors I've never written a review, favorable or unfavorable for a business before but this time I felt strongly that I should share my experience, so here goes... Starting with the owner, Phil: Extremely professional, knowledgable, hands-on and as one of his employees described him, "one of those 'look you in the eye, shake your hand and remember your name' kinda' guys." The job: A huge project taking several days and several men. Entire log house, eves, window frames, deck and railings needed to be stained.... including a lot of prep work and sanding. The before and after difference is remarkable. We are extremely pleased. The crew: Everyone of the men who worked on our home was courteous, skilled, efficient and not at all afraid of hard work. The crew foreman worked over-time to make sure every detail was completed and was totally accommodating, only wanting us to be happy with the work. And we were! Thank you L & S! read more

It pains me to write this, but I cannot, in good conscious, let what happened to us go undocumented. The reason I gave two stars was because initially, Phil provided a written quote, was professional in our arrangements and got the job started in the time promised. The job done was mostly good. However, we requested additional work which Phil promised to complete that was left undone; in addition, several areas were painted sloppily. In an email exchange with Phil requesting the promised work be finished, Phil stated that he told his team to, "get done what they could and leave the rest." The additional work in question was an oral promise from Phil that he was, obviously, no longer willing to support. In addition, he promised to have his painter return to the house to touch up poorly and sloppily painted areas (old paint showing through and dripped paint on white trim). His painter never showed up. Two promises of work left undone. We paid almost $3,000 for this job. Phil's lack of professionalism and his dishonesty was infuriating, not to mention disheartening amidst our excitement of moving in to our new home. read more

Phil and his painting assistants did an outstanding job. We have a little ranchette that looked pretty tired from the outside with some peeling paint and cracked siding. Phil told us with confidence that he and his painters would be able to paint the front of the house and make it look really good. He said that he'd work with our budget and there were no surprises. I normally get three bids for any house project but he was so professional I decided to trust my instinct and hired him. I'm so glad that I did. He helped us with choosing the exact colors for the house. His painters, friendly and efficient young men, always came on time and put in a good day's work. My husband and I were extremely happy with the result and when we noticed the next day that there was a very small bit of paint missing behind a bush, (it was so small we missed seeing it the first day!) I contacted Phil and he personally came over to take a few minutes and finished it. When we need painting for our house interior, we will be calling Phil from L&S Painting.
