I had them paint the exterior of my house and then added the garage because the house looked so good it made the detached garage look like an eye sore. Although the exterior painting was satisfactory, the company did not complete their job. Unfortunately, I paid in full with the final doors being painted. I noticed that a downspout was off the house and the Articles pulled away from the house were not placed back. I called Jesus and texted him of the situation. No response. I had to pay someone to complete the work and have the downspout reattached to the house. WARNING: DO NOT PAY IN FULL UNTIL YOU ARE TOTALLY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK. CONTRACTORS ARE ENTITLED TO PERCENTAGES THROUGHOUT THE COURSE OF WORK BUT NOT THE FINAL PAYMENT UNTIL THE JOB IS COMPLETED. In 2009 my wife and I hired SGB Custom Painting to paint the entire inside of our 1920's house (ceilings, walls, crown moulding, base boards, etc.). We had just bought the house and wanted to liven things up a bit by adding color instead of having just plain white walls. Scott was very helpful in recommending color schemes and working with us to pick the colors and finishes that we wanted throughout the house. While Scott worked, all of our hardwood floors were protected, plastic "air locks" were put up in the door ways to keep the paint dust down... I was amazed at the amount of prep work that was done before a drop of paint was put on. The work was done very efficiently: not taking too long, but not so fast that they made mistakes rushing. In the end, Scott and his crew left the inside of our house with a beautiful new paint job that looked better than we imagined it would. After they finished, our house was left spotlessly clean. Because of the great job they did on the inside of our house, we plan to hire SGB Custom Painting to paint the outside of our house next year. read more

I hired SGB to paint the exterior of my house. They did a good job other than they killed some bushes outside my house with all the ladders and walking in them. I had a repair done to my home a year later and paid them a lot of money to come back and repaint one wall. The person who did it left large holes in the elastomeric paint. I tried to contact Scott to have them complete the job they were paid to do. After 3 attempts to contact him and leaving voice messages, I will have to purchase more paint and redo the wall myself as Scott refuses to return my calls. Very disappointing as Scott seemed like such a nice, honest person with the first experience. Based on the quality of the second time and the lack of customer service with a problem I would not recommend them. read more
