It tasted a bit mass-produced, and I wasn't a fan of the appetizers. The fish entrees were pretty good, but overall, I've had much better French food in France. You probably don't have a ton of choices when it comes to eat on Mont St. Michel, or somewhere close in proximity, so this place is a decent choice. It was probably my least favorite meal during my entire week-long trip in Brittany and Normandy. The restaurant itself is quite large and fits a lot of people, but I would suggest calling ahead of time to make a reservation if you want to be sure to get a spot during peak tourist season. I went in April and was able to get a table the day before. Appetizer - We both had the parmesan pannacotta which was just so-so. Maybe this would have been better if it was a smaller portion but it was just odd and too cheesy for my taste. I had to eat it with the bread to dilute the taste, but the bread that was complementary was probably one of the worst breads I've had in France and was reminiscent of grocery store French bread I could buy in the States. The pannacotta came with some tomatoes and lettuce on top but it was just odd. Too much cheese and not enough other flavors or textures to balance it out. Main Dish - I got the fish for my plat and it was pretty decent. The portions were quite large and it was enjoyable but not super memorable. You can't go wrong with choosing one of the fish dishes. Dessert - My salted caramel crème brûlée was probably my favorite part of the meal. It was generous in size and tasted good. I would definitely recommend this as the dessert. My husband got some apricot dessert that we thought was going to be more like an apricot ice cream parfait but it was just weird and neither of us really liked it. Overall, it's still a decent place to eat, and reasonably priced for the portions that you get. It will be cheaper than eating on the actual Mont St. Michel, but I didn't really find anything spectacular about this place. Edible but not super great.

Most of France didn't really have any air conditioning - not in their restaurants nor their public transportation. Mind you, their restaurant was pretty empty. They had maybe two other tables occupied out of 60, but wouldn't let me sit at a table after they found out I wasn't ordering a meal from them. Thankfully, I found a seat in the waiting area near the bar to have my ice cream. I understand that this restaurant had to have high prices because it's right next to a tourist attraction but I felt the service could have been a little better. Granted the language barrier made it harder to communicate. If it wasn't for the English menu, and the heat, I would have probably got my ice cream elsewhere.

They have dining in a small section upstairs and some seating downstairs, and they ask you to wait until you're called to come get your food so it doesn't hold up the line since it's a small entryway. I think they had a bathroom, but I didn't use it. Like I said, don't except much from the food here, my sandwich had maybe a slice of cheese and one tomato in it and the rest was all bread/baguette.
