Ok first of all I am not one to write reviews whether negative or positive but at times I do and when I do take it to heart I mean what I say in said review. First and foremost this review I write to truly compliment and show my thanks and praise for an incredibly professional and outstanding individual and lady who happens to be a Public Notary and a mobile one. I and my wife found ourselves with her regretfully in the hospital due to an event that well landed her there and we found ourselves without a Power of Attorney and an Advanced Healthcare Directive. Two documents that are very important for individuals to have in place in case of the need for their presence clearly state the thoughts and wishes of the person to whom they apply. I created both documents for my wife to sign and put into effect if the need arose and of course, it is where the need of Lisa's services were needed. The presence and witnessing of said documents by a Notary Public at the signing of the documents by my wife. Lisa came to the hospital and well at the time we came to find that my wife due to her physical condition was unable to sign the documents therefore Lisa informed us how the documents could then be made to allow my wife's signature to be legally placed on them and be appropriately witnessed and notarized. A second appointment was then agreed to for her to return to notarize the documents. Two independent witnesses would need to be present for the signing and notarization of the documents. Lisa departed charging well a reasonable and appropriate nominal fee for her coming out to attempt the notarization that we were not able to complete at the time. Well to summarize this story Lisa did indeed return two days later when I had the two witnesses present and all the signing and witnessing that needed doing was done and Lisa notarized the documents for us thereby making the documents effective and legal as we needed them to be. It happened to be that I also took the time and opportunity to create a set of documents that applied to me as well and they were signed and notarized as well just in case, God forbid, their need were to arise. Lisa then went ahead a gave me the final tally for all the costs of her coming out to the hospital once more and notarizing all the documents on hand. Once more a very reasonable and deserving fee for her work and attention to our needs. She then departed and left me her business card in case I might require her services in the future or recommend her to another person. Once more this is my way of thanking her for the impressive and grateful appreciation I have of her person. Her professionalism and true concern and caring for well at least my wife's and my needs were excellent and I imagine that she carries herself the same in all her transactions. So if you need a truly admirable, professional, and exceptional Mobile Public Notary do indeed reach out to Lisa Mendoza for such said needs. I really should have done this review years ago. We have to get my fathers pension paperwork as well as all kinds of other documents notarized yearly. Unfortunately, this year my father was in the hospital and I was out of state and unable to visit him. For the convenience of her mobile notary service, 6/5 stars. I have kids that I take care of solo on my days off and schlepping them to an office to sign documents is a hassle I'd rather avoid. I booked a 2:30 appt on Saturday but she messaged me saying she was running behind, which is understandable being that the weekend is probably a busy day for her. Good communication. When she showed up, my 2 year old son made goo goo eyes at her and made her eat some of his fruit snack! (So embarrassed) But she kindly accepted the snack and went on to finish the task.
