Jon came to our house a few weeks ago and we discussed what needed to be done as well as what should or should not be done with the other trees in our front and back yards. Jon was very personable, knowledgeable, on time, and he took the time to answer my many questions (I'm a former journalist so I'm used to asking a lot of questions. Also, I had coffee). I enjoyed meeting Jon and got a good feeling about the company. Scheduling the work was done through online communication with Jolene. She was very pleasant to work with, answered all my questions, and my good feeling about the company increased. We set up two appointments - one for the workers to remove the dead tree and trim the two other trees; the other for the pecan tree stump to be grinded down. (A permit was required for this action; that's why everything had to be done on two separate days.) Earlier this week, Dominic (the team leader) and Rito came to our house to do the work. The guys were friendly and we really hit it off, especially when I learned that Dominic and I both have the same favorite pro football team (Pittsburgh Steelers; who else?). Rito said he was a 49ers fan, but I told him that was a better choice than a few other teams (which shall remain unnamed here) and that there still was time for him to join the fans of the "right team," meaning Pittsburgh, of course. But to be serious now, the guys got right after it and did a remarkable job. They came to the door when they were finished and showed me everything they had done which was quite impressive. They came back the next day and grinded down the pecan tree stump, covering it with dirt which was a nice surprise. They did such a good job that you can't even tell a tree was once there. So on a scale of 1 to 10, this company would rate a 15 or higher in my book. Jon, Jolene, Dominic, and Rito were all outstanding. I would strongly recommend them. In closing, it's refreshing to know that if my wife and I need help in the future with any of our other trees, we know which company we will use. :)

The tree is within 1 foot of my house and overhangs my roof and all of my pool equipment including the heater and pumps. One large branch dropping directly could've either punctured my roof or destroyed my pool equipment. The job took two days. After the first day, they cleaned up the area and you wouldn't have known they were there. After the stump removal, they removed all of the debris and did a very professional job. They did replace them promptly. The real problem came when I gave them a less than stellar review. It was not at all a terrible review. It was just the truth. The owner then began harassing me. And he continues to. I'm sure he thinks because I am a woman that lives alone he will intimidate me into removing it. I won't. Pretty incredibly unprofessional.
