We paid extra for laminated glass security door. Supposedly, it would be hard to break or crack a laminated glasses - that's what the salesman said. The door was installed Sept 2024. We saw a crack last week and immediately informed him. Thinking that it's the manufacturer flaw and maybe he could contact them for us. Unfortunately, that's not what we got. He claimed a rock must have hit it from mowing the grass. Giving him a benefit of doubt, I told my husband to remind him that it's LAMINATED glass, not the regular kind. Disappointed again, the salesman wants $800 for replacement. Didn't even want to stop by our house to take a look. We are 2 minutes drive from his office. For clarity, our front door is blocked with bricks on both sides. There is no grass in the front of the door for the rock to hit during mowing.

He put the windows in, but didn't finish putting in all the parts to the windows. He said he would bring the parts for the windows and as of today he is now ignoring my calls. When walking on my floor there is a drop due to the uneven foundation. The concrete foundation is an extremely sloppy job with excess concrete in my grass and on the foundation. He destroyed my gutter work on my house. The electrical work was not correct, he lied about having a permit pulled. I called and it was never pulled. I had to hired my own electrician to fix that messed up job. With all those issues, I had to basically start the entire job over and lost approximately $10,000 on the start of a very sloppy job.

Mr. Juarez owner of Construction Pros was unprofessional,  unresponsive,  showed poor…read morecraftsmanship, and exibited predatory practices when he was hired by my elderly mother to complete concrete work by repaving of her driveway. Mr. Juarez first encounter with my mother was the 04 Jun 21, he charged $14,469.00. He was paid $6500.00 up front by my mother per the invoice provided. It has taken him approximately 3 months and the driveway is unfinished and is already cracking and falling apart. He requested several payments from my mother during this time stating that he needed to pay his workers. In all my mother has given him over 12,000.00 to date. During the course my mom and I texted and  called trying to reach Mr Juarez to see when he was going to complete the work.  When he did show up he requested more money from my mother each time. On 31 Aug 2021, he contacted my mother and said he wanted to speak with her and I knew he was going to ask for more money and guess what he did,but this time I was there ( he was unaware that I was standing just a few feet away)and heard the predatory tactics of Mr. Juarez requesting more money for a treach he had dug beside the driveway a week prior. He did not get permission from my mother prior and now he is asking for more money. At this point I severed all ties with Mr.Juarez and have hired another contractor to re-do what he was paid for. I will be seeking legal counsel against Mr.Juarez.

I ordered two (2) security doors from American Window and Door built to unique specifications. I…read moree-mailed dimensions of the doors and subsequently faxed a measured diagram of the doors to Kevin Croon, owner, validating the original e-mailed measurements, which he gratefully acknowledged and subsequently admitted ignoring.1 Croon also admitted he did NOT check the doors "as built" against my specifications.2 As a result, neither door conformed to specifications and one (1) door conflicted with the existing rear exterior door and required extensive modification, at significant cost, to the existing rear exterior door. Croon offered a myriad of fixes, after the fact, all involving effort and/or cost to me regarding an installation 265 miles away. In my opinion, Croon became defensive, aggressive, and implied veiled threats. I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to work with Croon to explain the error was in the manufacture of the door not to specifications, not the supplied measurements, to no avail. I offered to provide measured photos in order for him to seek an adjustment with his manufacturer but he seemed uninterested in any option other than attempting to lay the blame on the measurements that he admittedly ignored and did not check post manufacture. Croon, in his refusal or inability to accept or understand the measurements were not in error or conflict, seemed to want to act as attorney, judge, and jury and assign liability without availing himself of the judicial system and referred this disputed debt to a collection agency after being advised this was a disputed debt. I suspect had Croon applied just a small portion of the energy he exerted in aggressive posturing there would not have been a conflict of the hardware. 1.
