Yes, I ran the NYC Marathon in 2021, but just this year did I finally get around to purchasing my finish line photo. After utilizing Adam's Photoshop skills in the past, I reached out to him to see if he could work his magic, and he exceeded my expectations. Attached you will see the before and after where Adam was able to remove three people that were crossing the finish line at the same time as me so now the focus is fully on me which feels super special. And he was even able to fill in the text on the ground that those people were previously blocking which wowed me. I rarely have a good race photo as I haven't figured out how to look photogenic while sweaty and in pain but that is a lesson for another day. Well, I private messaged and emailed one such photographer and she never even bothered to respond! Discouraged, I turned to my old friend Yelp, and Ashley Blake caught my eye. Great reviews, nice looking photos- and wouldn't you know, she responded within the hour. From that point on everything was wonderful. Ashley does a great job communicating with you. I paid a partial deposit and we worked out a meeting spot and photo location. Ashley comes prepared with all of her equipment, and an artistic eye for nice backdrops. Asking an 18 year old boy to pose for an hour is a tall order, but she's so friendly and chill my son complied! We had a rare cold snap the day before our appointment and Ashley gave me the choice to reschedule if I preferred. I initially reached out because my sister wanted to gift me with some professional photos of me and my soul dog, Champ, for Christmas. Rose responded to my inquiry almost immediately and we were taking about arranging a time for the shoot when Champ, at the age of 16, suddenly took a turn for the worse. I tearfully let Rose know that Champ wasn't going to make it to the weekend. The vet and I could only really count on making him comfortable for one night so that my Mom could be there for us as he went to sleep. Rose and Tim found time in their schedule to fit us in early. When they arrived it was like welcoming friends into my home and Champ was happy to see them and work with them as best he could in his condition. They were warm, kind, and understanding. Their warmth kept me from having a breakdown during the shoot and they caught some beautiful pictures of my best boy that really captured what a sweet soul he was. I will forever be grateful for these two. I have beautiful pictures that have been such a comfort while I'm grieving the loss of my best friend. I can't recommend these two enough.
