I wish I could give this "therapist" no stars but that is not an option so here it goes - I went to…read moresee this "therapist" in early May after I found one of my tenants dead and my Post Traumatic Stress was starting to act up. I have resisted for YEARS to see a therapist a therapist because I just don't trust them, however considering what I had been going through I decided after a long search to go with this person, extremely bad decision on my part. I was looking for a gay therapist or at least one who understands gay issues and he seemed like the right guy. The first session went pretty smooth, typical 1000 questions but I could understand the process so I went with it, now mind you I was running about 10 minutes late so I understood I was going to only have 50 minutes with him so I went for it, as expected 50 minutes later we ended the session, fair enough. Second session is where the trouble began. Determined not to be late again I got there EXACTLY at 1:00pm which was my appointment time. I went to his office and flipped the switch to let him know I was there, 10 minutes later nobody came out so I decided to call him, no answer went straight to voicemail, I left a message stating that I was there at his office and nobody was answering and nobody was acknowledging my presence after knocking too so I tried calling again 5 minutes later, again no answer. At that moment I was ready to walk out when his door suddenly swung open and lo and behold, he was on a personal call to some airline making reservations. He then apologized after ending the call a few minutes later and said he would make up the 15 minute difference at the end of our session. I was very emotional that day due to the fact that I was dealing with the Coroners office trying to local next of kin for my tenant that passed away, I was opening up to him on the verge of tears when i look up and I see him TEXTING on his phone, thats right TEXTING!! I called him out on it and he apologized and said that this NEVER happened but that the airline was getting his reservation all wrong or something and that he would put the phone in his drawer and close it. I started to shut down emotionally at that point, I just didn't trust him and I told him that and he said he understood and that it wouldn't happen again, still against my better judgment I continued with the session since he was already getting paid by my insurance. Wanna guess what happened next? He ended the session at 2:00pm!!! He didn't even bother to make up the difference in the time that he wasted due to him being on a personal call and text !!! I left and I never returned but I had the decency to at least call him to tell him i was not returning and he did not seem surprised and said that he "understood" and that if I wanted a referral to someone else he would be happy to do that for me. In closing I find this behavior from a mental health "professional" disturbing to say the least, it took me YEARS to get the courage to trust someone again and seek therapy and this person stomped all over it. I will also state here at this review that I am willing to take a polygraph test AT MY OWN EXPENSE to prove that what I just wrote here is true. I will not be silent and run the risk of him doing this to someone else, it is now my goal to prevent this from happening to anyone else again EVER. Thank you for reading and please be forewarned **UPDATE** I see that two other people have rated this person and gave glowing reviews and interestingly enough both have only one review reach, obviously two people (so far) have created account just for the sol purpose to negate my negative honest and truthful review, HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS ... to say the least. Before committing to service, I met with a registered nurse from the agency who oversees care. She assessed my health status and needs in order to decide if I was an appropriate patient for home care offered by the company. The HHAs are caring, knowledgeable and respectful of privacy. They supervise my daily exercises, assist with meal preparation, shopping, household chores and driving to medical appointments. The office manager, Jeanette, is knowledgeable, and always willing to help. I highly recommend this company.

She found us care for just a few hours later which relieved a lot of stress. Kristina who came for overnight care was excellent. She was careful and kind, supporting dad while being patient and respectful of his needs. He was a little uncomfortable with the idea at first but she eased him into it. She also gave us suggestions and tips. While we were overwhelmed, she calmly helped us navigate what was happening. Leslie, the nurse who came the next day was also great. She was prompt, gentle and kind. She efficiently got the information needed to make sure dad would be okay and answered numerous questions. Overall loved working with this agency. Would recommend them and will be going to them for future needs.
