Had I known that this is the way these people treat their customers, I would have never in the first place. The staff was very rude and very insulting by saying that there place was "too high quality for you people". I will make sure that my family or my friends do not ever go and visit this place again. I don't care how great your services are, if you are not great at customer service and know how to deal with clients, then the quality of your services does not matter. We all had reflexology and all three were amazing. Then , the facials...two young, rude, untrained girls. They slapped some cream on our faces then left us in the room cold for 35 minutes of a 45 minute treatment. When I complained at the front desk the receptionist call the manager (who I could hear on the phone) basically saying too bad they need to pay. No apology or explanation. And, worse the two young girls were antagonistic and rude. NOT RELAXING A RIP OFF The receptionist took my number and Silvia (I think) the manager would call -ha! It's been a week! At the end of my service my hair was wet and she immediately began blow drying my hair. I thought this is normal since the temperature was -10. She asked if I wanted to curl or straighten - I said neither no its not necessary since i'm not going anywhere. So we finished up and headed to the front to pay. The final total was more than I expected. I asked for a price breakdown and the receptionist told me there is a charge of $15 for blow dry and straighten. I was very surprised since I was never told this would be a charge! The worst thing about it is I never even got my hair straightened yet had to pay for it :( This left a sour taste in my mouth. Also I want to mention even though it isn't a big deal that when she was rinsing my hair it was mostly cold water which wasn't very relaxing or comfortable. Usually the hairstylist will massage my hair for a little which is amazing but this didn't happen. Just little things like that make a difference for the customer experience.

Yes I may have ventured off to other salons at one time or another but I always came back. Why? Because the expert, first class styling. Always what I want. Never a screw up. My favourite is the scalp massage that seems exclusive to this salon. That pretty well puts me in the most relaxed mood. (I never do feel as though I regain true consciousness after that!). Matthew, the salon owner usually does my hair but I have also had Frank cut and style but either one does a spectacular job. My hair looks natural and healthy and flows wonderfully back in style even after walking in windy conditions. Easy to restyle. Moreover the colourist - Nadia does a fabulous job at highlighting or low-lights using Aveda products (all natural ingredients) and I leave with healthy, shiny hair. She is so sweet, just a darling! You can't beat this. Although I have never purchased their Spa packages (only because I just haven't found the time) I want to. I know it would be an awesome experience. After I am done I feel and look like a million bucks and I feel so relaxed. (Sometimes I just have to go home and have a nap because of this wonderfully relaxing experience!). So, how it works is. . they have a room fee and the attendant offers you a massage and any other services you negotiate with her. I went about 3 months back and chose Lily as she was the only one available, and I regret it to this day ! I don't know where she received her training but I was in physical pain after that massage as she doesn't know the first thing about massages, and I am a bodybuilder so I know body pain. As far as the extra services are concerned, she sucked(no pun intended) at that too ! She doesn't speak basic english, is unenthusiastic and is always looking at the clock even if you pay generously.
