They claim they're being transparent - ha - sounds like greed. A few of the stylists are inexperienced and shouldn't be cutting hair when all they know how to do is trim the ends. As others have written, you ask for a specific color and the stylist colors your hair with their choice. You might have to take an uber from where you are able to find parking. The salon has no parking, side streets are for apartment renters and the street they direct you to park on is bumper to bumper with parked cars from other businesses. Be prepared to be disappointed if you decide to make an appointment here.

She ended up showing up 20 minutes late to the scheduled appointment. I was the first appointment of the day so I ended up standing and waiting in the parking lot for her to show up. Furthermore, the cut itself was choppy and uneven. I had layers put in and there is one random long piece of hair that stuck out. I did not notice at the time of the cut because it had been blow dried into place but you can really tell when air drying it.

If I am going to drop around $200 - $400 at a salon, it better be damn worth it. This salon was originally named something else... which was acquired by B Spa and Salon. I happened to be checking out the salon and getting a Brazilian Blowout while she was there and talking about her plans for the place. Do you know what I noticed when I walked into the salon? That even though it needs its own makeover to come up to par and compete with the other top salons of Westchester... everything else was there. I mean... the people were there. The service was there. The customer attention was there. It's a salon that has everything except the refined look. I forget my stylist's name. I was very exhausted that day. But, she was kind, courteous, and did a fantastic job on my Brazilian Blowout. I am curious to see how well they do at cutting my hair... but I will reserve that for another day... and another review. Jeffrey and I were talking about the possibility of me coming back in the future for a Brazilian Blowout. The owner/manager interrupted us to say that I would need to pay more. If she had approached is a nicer way, I probably wouldn't have minded. But I found her to be quite rude. I won't be returning. It's a shame because they could have gotten a loyal customer.
