The Shaabiyat was quite sweet, but I still enjoy it, while every thing else was perfect for me, so much less sweet than at other bakeries. I loved it! My parents felt the other pastries were not sweet enough for them, but they just poured some of the honey syrup that came with the pastries on it and felt it was perfect. I love how you can control the amount of sweetness. Everything was delicious. I will be coming here for all my Middle Eastern pastries from now on. The lady serving me was very friendly. Part way through, a man came to the front and advised me that the piece of cake I ordered was from yesterday and he can get me a fresh one. Oh yes, please! Also they had some freshly baked Shaabiyat at the back and they would bring that tray out. Nice! I was so thrilled to be getting fresh items (I came on a Saturday morning).
