This was our last official meal in Paris and it did not disappoint!
They have a few tables on the sidewalk if you want to enjoy the city, but since it was a little rainy, we opted to sit inside. It's beautifully decorated and you're eyes will be darting from one end of the restaurant to the other trying to take it all in.
Our server was great. It was pretty much a one woman show with her darting to the phone, the bar, taking orders and delivering food. She didn't skip a beat and she was great at multitasking in this massively sized restaurant.
What we ate:
House Potato Chips: Since bread comes with everything, the chips were a nice starter. Freshly fried and crispy. These are complimentary for everyone.
Croustillant de St. Marcelin Au Miel: Beautifully fried cheese. Crunchy on the outside, nice and creamy on the inside. We spread a lot of it on bread, but we made sure to finish off the remaining morsels with a fork. There was no way we were letting any of this go to waste.
Entrecote Au Pouvre Mignonette: Plated on a cutting board, this was a delicious, tender and perfectly cooked steak sided with a salad and a massive amount of fries. The meat was seasoned nicely and was more than enough for one person... but I finished it!
Le Burger de Maman: Huge, juicy burger with fries and a salad. The meat was moist, the cheese was perfectly melty and there were just the right amount of condiments. Two hands were needed to finish it off, but Jaime thought it was one of the best burgers he's ever had.
Wine: Lots of it.
I would highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a place to eat in the area. You'll get a fantastic meal without breaking the bank! read more
