Ok... I didn't buy from this vendor but the initial estimate process (compared to who I bought from) was a complete waste of time. I inquired through a FB ad, a guy named Ted reaches out, wanting to set an appointment and to know what color carpets we're interested in - Cool. Ted shows up the day of the estimate, and literally drops two 12 x 12 samples of carpet on my floor, and says (Which one you like?) we ask , what's the difference? Ted says "ones thicker ones thinner." Ok?? So we let him take measurements in peace... he comes downstairs and the next thing he says is "if I make you good deal, you buy today?" (Yes in that broken English)... really? I then ask for a written estimate and a cost difference on the two materials, he then says I need to go meet him at the YORBA LINDA office because he needs to input all this into his system, and so I can ask questions, and he's sooo busy because he's the regional manager. I AM A SALES PROFESSIONAL, I KNOW WHAT GAME YOURE PLAYING, Ted!!! I decide to entertain Ted, and I mange to get him to agree to a 5pm appointment in two days at the Corona location. He was 15 minutes late. Once we sat down... first thing he says is "If I make a good deal, you buy today?" , I then notice all he had was chicken scratches on a legal pad and two perfectly rounded estimates @ $1600 and $1700, one for the thinner and one for the thicker material. I ask to take the written estimates home to speak with my wife, he says he can't do that. He doesn't have any. And he needs to make the decision here because I have to ask questions... does this not sound insane to anyone?? Ultimately, he gave me 48 hours to decide, I found a reputable vendor with written estimates, and the work came out awesome with warranty. DONT LET TED WASTE YOUR TIME!! read more

We love our carpet thanks to Andy and his wonderful installation crew at LA Carpet! We walked in to their Corona location just to 'see' and compare what Home Depot had to offer. And thanks to Andy's research, knowledge, and fantastic service, he was able to not only beat but provide a higher quality carpet and padding than the competitors. Andy's service was timely and efficient and kept us informed of the purchase and installation process every single step of the way. His installation crew showed up on time and contacted us 15 minutes prior to arriving on the scheduled time. As part of our deal, the installation crew was suppose to rip up additional carpeting on top of what was being replaced. Although they worked hard and diligently for over 8 hours, they never ever complained, but instead worked effectively, was very detailed, and very clean in their work. We had just painted our walls and they were very careful to not scuff up or scratch them. Even after the job was completed they made sure that all the scraps and dust was cleaned up. Thank you so much for your hard work Andy, Carlos and Lalo. We love our new carpet and will enjoy it for the years to come in our new home!! Dear Mr. Ray, Well our kitchen remodel is complete today just one week shy of 5 months - job was estimated 3 weeks max. You were very polite and professional during the consult and getting me to sign on the dotted line but that went out the window when LA Carpet incorrectly submitted the plans drawn up for my kitchen. Your people's lack of detail cost me 9" of kitchen space, a 9" cabinet and drawer and totally threw off the flow and functionally of my kitchen. When brought to your attention I wish I could say you were immediately apologetic and ready to do whatever to fix the matter but you were not. We were unable to redo the cabinets due to the fact that we could no longer find my floor tile. The granite counter top had to be replaced 3 times all stemming from this design error. I also had to have your crew reseal the granite. I could list a million different issues but basically, you in particular Mr. Ray, were difficult and rude towards the end to work with - dealing successfully with the public when you are in sales and customer service is much different in the civilian world than how it was when you were in law enforcement. My deal is no longer a deal as I did NOT get the kitchen that was designed and described in the LA Carpet plans and contract I signed! LA Carpet not only made ME chase them to get things completed and done correctly but never offered any sort of compensation for their gross error! Every time someone has inquired about the progress of my kitchen remodel I share the FACTS. The extremely poor communication with us and your crews (who NEVER seemed to know exactly what they were to do), me catching ALL the unfinished details and then being treated rudely by you and your crew as if it were my fault, to crews showing up 5 hours late and then working until 11:30 PM in my home. As I told you, the LA Carpet system is extremely flawed and your behavior was very disappointing and unprofessional! We just sold our house and moved back into our first home, which we had been renting. Sadly, the carpets we installed 3 years ago had been destroyed. Needed my bathroom remodeled talked to these people thru an ad on instagram they contacted me right away and scheduled an appointment in a couple day's. I chatted via text and stated clearly what I needed prior to appointment woman scheduling said ok. When guy came over i reexplained what we needed full remodel; tear out tub toilet gut it totally replace with all new and stone tiles the works. He didn't seem too interested after this he barely measured and kept insisting on his ideas instead of listening to what we wanted. Then he wanted us to go to his store to look at displays before he would give us estimate. This is store in Rancho Cucamonga on foothill corner. We told him inconvenient to go we work all day everyday past their business hours and insisted on quote no point driving several miles to look at samples if cost was too high. He quoted us a crazy price over $10k and this was NOT including the cabinet or any fixtures wth! We would still have to buy all this separately. And then he proceeded to say they don't do any electrical or plumbing etc. So then who was going to do that? I have to hire separate people for this? I said before scheduling what we needed. Wasted my Sunday only day off for this? THEY DONT DO BATHROOMS OR KITCHENS JUST FLOORING! Don't be fooled by advertising all lies you'll waste your time. read more

I wish I could give them NO STARS! These are the ABSOLUTE WORST company of crooks you can ever work with!!! We called them out to do a tub to shower conversion, and install vinyl tile flooring in 3.5 bathrooms and 1 laundry room. From day one it was nothing but trouble, poor communication, no one showing up on time, unable to communicate with workers because they do not speak English. One contractor talking poorly of the other and pointing fingers at one another. On day one they trashed the upstairs bathrooms and master bedroom as they failed to tape off work areas. Had to have it professionally cleaned by a restoration company. Dust and debris everywhere, including air vents. Flash forward to a flood in the upstairs laundry room because they failed to appropriately reinstall the washing machine, causing water damage upstairs and down stairs. What was supposed to be a 7-10 day turned into a 3 month job and it's still not completed to satisfaction after having to deal with their insurance. They sure had no problem taking me to court because I did not feel it was right for them to charge me in full for poor workmanship, water damage caused to home, missed time from work for multiple family members, etc. You MIGHT save a few bucks with them, but the nightmare of working with them is not worth it! I caution you not to allow these people into your home. They literally ripped out toilet paper holders from walls, had to hound them to repair. No remorse or consideration for their customers. Baseboards looked like they were pieced together by a kid. Shower niche is so unleveled you can't store a bar of soap or bath products without them sliding out of the niche into the shower floor. Working with their sales/customer service team Nassir, Mark, Mr. Mo and Hortensia was pure torture. They work that they did there is NO WAY these guys are licensed. read more

Instead the carpet was not installed properly, our furniture, walls, and stair railing were damaged. They have very poor Customer Service who do not respond promptly to repair the damaged items. Currently, I have a job with LA Carpet. We had Carpet installed and the experience was great. The installers were efficient and very clean. This was the best part of the experience. Also, we are getting a bathroom installed. I have texted Ray and called him regarding the process and materials needed to get the job done. There is no communication. Ray does not answer text or calls unless you happen to catch him at the office. First, they were going to send out the quartz installer to do template to cut the quartz. The quartz installer was cancelled because the cabinets were not installed. We had numerous no shows or change of times of installers. We recently found out the quartz was discontinued by the scheduling department and that Ray was on vacation but will take care of it on Sunday when he gets back in town. I texted Ray in Sunday. No response to my text. We were supposed to get the shower hot mop this past Saturday and they could not do it because the plumber they sent out did not do the job correctly. Now the plumber has to come back on Monday and hot mop on Tuesday which means more time off work. We have not even had the tile installed as of yet and we are on week three. We figured if this job went well, we would do another bathroom and Kitchen. We will not be using LA Carpet for our future projects. Right now, I just want my current project completed. Usually, I would not write a review because companies do have off days. But, clearly Ray can careless about the client. I'm hoping all the the issues will get resolved and my bathroom is done by Friday. I will be happy to update my review. read more

Never used them because their at home visit/estimate was so disappointing. Ray came by, spent 5 minutes looking at the space and asking questions. Never gave me his card. Didn't bring in samples. Left to sit in his car to write an estimate. Came back 5 minutes later with a piece of notebook paper (no logo, no form, just a piece of paper) on which was written in pencil "Shower $7,500 Shower Glass $1500 Flooring and Material and Labor $2000. $1100 cash price". That was it. A piece of notebook paper with 14 words on it. I called to speak to the store manager to share my experience....she didn't really care. read more

Then he told me that they could give me a quote on the kitchen cabinets and countertops as well. He was so professional, offering the best financing package. Do NOT Hire them to do bathrooms. The cocking around the shower in both of our bathrooms is cracked. While doing work broke our toilet seat. The shower faucet and the actual shower handle is not centered it's crooked. The recess lighting they put in one of the bathrooms is also crooked. The service is horrible and we have had to keep calling and calling there is no communication, and we keep finding things wrong with both bathrooms they are redoing. RUN FOR THE HILLS! DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT give this company, LA Carpet, ANY MONEY! DON'T purchase ANYTHING from them! LA Carpet staff, Managers AND Owners are LIARS, THIEVES and no NOTHING about customer service or customer satisfaction! In July 2015, my husband and I made the fateful decision to order carpet for our entire house, as well as have our kitchen redone with brand new cabinets, granite counter tops and backsplash. The cost for ALL of it was over $21,000!! To make a very, very long story short...First, the cabinets were allegedly ready so they demo'd our entire kitchen then said, "Oops, your cabinets are not ready. We hope to get them in soon." 3-4 weeks later our cabinets were FINALLY installed! However, as we had no kitchen, we had to spend 1,000's of dollars eating out for roughly 6-7 weeks! Second, they broke one of our kitchen tiles, tried to blame US (stating it was cracked/broke before they installed the cabinets). The truth came out on that one, one of their installers broke the tile. They refused to fix the tile and only put an additional kickboard at the bottom to try and cover it up; it didn't work. You can still see the broken tile! Third, although the cabinets themselves were beautiful, they did not work appropriately. They were supposed to close with a simple touch or push, that's a joke! We are still having issues with many of our cabinets today, over 14 months later! Fourth, the granite countertops that we purchased were not sealed with a protectant coat as the majority of the countertops are yellow rather than white! Gross! Both my husband and I complained 1000 times to the Managers and Owner of the LA Carpet! They offered us a rug to put underneath our dining room table, which we did not need nor desired. The most they offered to take off of our account, was a measly $750! By this time, we had their staff from the building and installation departments come to our house roughly roughly 35 times in a matter of six months! We were so tired and exhausted from fighting and arguing with these idiots, that I agreed to take the $750 credit to our account!!! The kicker about that is they credited my account $750, then IMMEDIATELY charged me $750 for "service calls," so we got $ZERO$ compensation from piece of SHIT company! If I could make a recommendation for ---------- (10 to Infinity on the negative Star chart), we would! This company is AWFUL! RUN-RUN-RUN! PLEASE SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! read more
