I was checking the paperwork which my husband signed for a kitchen and bathroom remodeling. I found out that he was charged $3090.40 for 30 feet of flooring. The size of the flooring space was approximately 6 feet by 4 feet. He was charged $125 per square feet instead of $24 per square foot. The maximum cost should have been $720. To place a vanity with a value of $300 which is small in size. $2060.27. Unbelievable. I will be trying to contact the company again after my findings. And I only found out now because we needed to disclose the information to the future owners. Before signing any contract get a few quotes and have an attorney look over the figures. read more

He took the time to thoroughly explain every detail, ensuring my husband and I understood the entire process. Sean's dedication was evident as he was here until the late evening. , He went over everything with my husband and I.despite the fact that this was not his area. He got called out on this sales call which was way out of his area and we had a lot of questions and it was getting late and at no time did we ever feel rushed or like he was trying to hurry up and get home. During the process prior to them coming out to start the job I wanted a few things changed and Sean was available incredibly responsive and proactive. He handled the issues efficiently, keeping me informed and making sure everything was resolved quickly. DO NOT hire this company to do anything in your home. I can't review anything such as workmanship and quality of their work, because they no-showed on the first appointment for an estimate. Not a huge deal in itself, things happen. But came after was a horrible experience. I told them I'd call them back the following week to reschedule. But the calls from them never stopped. Multiple times a day for weeks. This is even after saying to them that I'm no longer looking to get this project done. Just got off the phone with then just now, which sparked this review. They will offer everything under the sun just to get you to sign something. Before they even see the work site, the sales reps are immediately trying to funnel you into their finance department to run a credit check. They will even off Amazon gift cards of varied amounts. All of this feels like a scam. I would not trust a company with this kind of business practice to update anything in my home. I signed up originally to have a shower installed and I changed my mind as I realized that I couldn't afford the cost at this time. I called and ask the person that answered the call that cancel the install and she told me that she wasn't authorized to cancel and that she would have someone call me back within an hour. Well 24 hours later I had to call them back and the girl I talked to, I could not understand her as if she was in a hole, I again ask to have the project canceled. She told me that I had to wait 24 to 48 hours. I asked to speak to a manager and was put on hold for over 15 minutes. Finally Sheila came on the line and I explained to her that I wanted the project canceled and I wanted my $1000.00 deposit returned. Well she told me that she needed authorization from the designer and that he would have to call someone in their office to authorize my refund. I asked why did he have to call someone? Why can't you call him an I never got an explanation. Anyway she said she would call me back in an hour. I am currently waiting for a callback. I doubt that will happen. They say that they are committed to provide good service but in my opinion their customer service stinks. I wouldn't recommend this company. read more

The best part of dealing with Payless, Kitchen and Bath was the fact that they narrowed their scope of work so that they could give me a fixed price quote unlike most kitchen remodelers. They also gave me a price for stuff that was outside of the initial scope which I could either arrange to handle separately myself or have their people do at the price they quoted. If I made changes, I understood that the price could go down or up, depending on what I modified, added or deleted from my original order. I did share a deal about another company that was very cheap. He did question the price and was willing to call the company for me to ask them questions. He was very honest and said the price was really good and he couldn't beat it but he was still willing to help me out through the process if I was to go with the other company. Besides being dishonest they provide poor workmanship. They do have the best talented sales representatives. They will show up and say all the right words and they will promise you the world however the reality turned out to be a nightmare. One guy showed up to do one day project (to them) of course the guy showed up he was in the phone most of the time he never put a protective coat on the drywall and was all cut like if he didn't know what a straight line was. They will never provide you with a price break down. In case you want to make changes they will give you less than what you actually paid. They have these project coordinator that are out of state that will never show up to inspect the project. What they do is hire out. Good morning everyone. I am pleased to say and to give the consumers this information about Payless Kitchens and Bath. They, "Payless Kitchens and Bath", made me eat all of my words even the periods. As a consumer I have never experienced such on the spot customer service that I have received from Payless Kitchens and Bath. 30 minutes after leaving my unfavorable review, I received a call from another supervisor of the company (which has never happened before, not even from Costco. I'm still waiting for their response and it's been over 1 month that one of their vendors ruined my bathroom, and Reborn just doesn't care one way or the other). The supervisor at Payless Kitchens and Bath, sincerely wanted to know what was the issue. After explaining the issue, (I believe her name was Eva, if I got it wrong, please forgive me), the supervisor stated, "please give us another chance to get this right. I'm sending over three of my top employees to evaluate, and give you what you need to right this wrong you have experienced from Reborn, and an estimate on the work to correct the problem". I remember this quote from the Bible, "Let he without sin cast the first stone." We all make mistakes, but a company who own's it and practice it, is a company lead by God (in my opinion). I am a retired Director of Nursing. My job was to ensure your loved ones received the best quality of care we could provide at all cost. Believe it or not, not all nurses are cut from the same cloth. Some nurses are only in it for the money, just like some companies are only out to take what they can take from you. Well Payless Kitchens and Bath is not one of these companies I'm proud to say. Payless Kitchens and Bath owes me nothing, but yet and still they sent out their best workers to evaluate what another company has done for absolutely nothing. That's right, it cost me nothing. When these professionals arrived to my residence, they were kind, courteous and about business. Now mind you, I had people come to my home to give me a quote on a remodel many times. It takes about 15 minutes. Not these professionals, to assess the damages and repair of my newly, terribly, disastrous remodeled bathroom by Reborn took about 1 hour. These professionals charge approximately $100/hr. I had 3 professionals. 3 time 100 is $300.00. Payless Kitchens and Bath charged me nothing. Not only did they charge me nothing, I received a detailed report of all the improper work that was conducted by Reborn including pictures and explanations of how the work should have been done. Hopefully you all know what happens when you speak out against injustice, you become a target. Well, Payless Kitchens and Bath spoke out against one of their own for justice to the consumer. Just a few people who spoke out against injustice.... John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X. Yes, when you speak out against injustice, you join this elite group. I'm not saying it's Payless Kitchens and Bath's first time speaking out for injustice, I'm saying they speak up for the people. If you are doing business with anyone as a consumer, you want a company with integrity..... Payless Kitchens and Bath. Lastly, this is also very important. Consumers you have to be careful of who you let in your home. My wife is a very Spiritual person, she is teaching me that some people carry's negative energy with them and they leave that negative energy in your home once they leave. My wife never met anyone from Reborn, so she wasn't able to receive a positive or negative vibe from anyone. However, after the personnel from Reborn exited my home, my wife stated, "There's negative energy in this house and I don't know where's it's coming from." I stated, "some contractors just left". My wife began sagging our home right away to get rid of the negative energy. When the professionals from Payless Kitchens and Bath left our home, the energy that was left was equal to ours, Peace and tranquility. I stated that to say, if people come to your home with negative energy (and its energy you can't see because it's disguised as positive), the quality of their work is going to show.
