I wanted an estimate for the new carpet and was not planning to move forward as quickly as I did, however, Farid made me feel comfortable and assisted me with selecting the right color palette that aligned with my decor. Leading up to the day of service Farid and his team were in constant communication with me, advising me of what to expect. I asked for an additional serviceman to help expedite service and Farid was able to provide it. On the day of service, the carpet layers arrived promptly. They were professional and quick. They were able to install the first and second floors in 8 hours. Farid contacted me after to ensure that I was pleased with the service and to reiterate the terms of the warranty. Make sure you get your quote in writing and legible. I specifically stated that I wanted smooth transitions throughout my house as it was going to be a rental. I was also having the sub floor replaced. Next thing I know they did nothing with the subfloor in my living room so I now have huge transitions between the rooms in my house. Definite trip hazards. When I complained they told me it would be $1,700 more and my quote didn't include the subfloor in the living room. Of course the quote was totally illegible so there wasn't anything I could do about it. I also had to have the installers back out 3 times for some areas where the grout was cracking due to the flooring not being stabilized properly. I finally just gave up. read more

Just had carpet installed for the entire upstairs of my home: 4 bedrooms, hallway, staircase and 3 closets. I am beyond thrilled! Hirbod was my salesperson and he was so pleasant and non aggressive which I so appreciated. He listed to me and showed me samples (even though I really didn't know exactly what I wanted) that were fitting to my requests. We chose the highest quality padding and boy did that make the feel of the carpet that much more luxurious!! Highly recommend the upgraded padding!! We chose the Mohawk carpet that's good for people with animals. Love the color, love the feel and the padding. The price was fair as well. The installers were incredible! Javier and Alex were exceptional. They handled/moved all the furniture without a hiccup and were great at putting it all back exactly where it was originally. They cleaned up nicely too. The installation makes it breaks a carpet and the carpet is tacked tight and you cannot tell where the seams are any where! I told him what I needed he made an appointment to come and look at my house and do measurements so I would get everything I was paying for. How a rating of 1 became a rating of 5 thanks to Nasser Mulhem. After 20 years we were ready to replace the flooring in our two story home. We searched high and low for over three months for a light maple color floor with few wood knots, very light variations and had to be waterproof. We wanted a clean, smooth looking floor. We finally found it at LA Carpet at the Rancho Cucamonga office. Our Salesman was Nasser Mulhem and he patiently showed us many styles, colors, materials, and his estimate was the best by far after many bids. Finally we chose a Carolina Maple by Megaclick. The installation went smooth, when the second floor was completed first and I was done fully cleaning it, I realized it showed a repetitive pattern of shoe prints or tread marks. I immediately called Nasser to stop further installation and sent him pictures of the marks, he advised the manufacturer said we had to clean it with warm water and soap, which we had done. Nasser personally came over and verified the "pattern of shoe prints" was not on the sample we had based our decision when choosing such floor, Nasser diligently spoke with the manufacturer, made the proper calls and had the manufacturer representative come over and perform the necessary inspection. The end result the flooring was completely replaced with a new selection (non-defective) and it looks outstanding. I thank Nasser for being such a customer advocate and proving he was on our side. I would definitely go back to LA Carpet and deal with Nasser for our future flooring needs. read more

This is the second time that we have gone with LA carpet. The first time had all the floors done in our house. This second time around we had kitchen countertops and backsplash installed. We had such a great experience the first time we decided to use them again. Farid in the showroom was just as helpful as the last time, even when I changed my mind about the backsplash, kinda late in the process. I will say that when you are picking out countertops try to find the biggestup sample possible, looking at a small square doesn't give you the full effect. They have poor customer service. Getting my kitchen remodel by La Carpet. Said it would be 2 weeks going on three weeks not done. they are not putting my stove and hood back. i was told I would have to contact someone else to put it back. I also found out that they threw away my faucet. they didn't tell me and I didn't know I needed a new faucet when the countertop people came. that are getting paid $25000 and they can't put my whole kitchen back together. Customer service person told me to talk to the sales person Nasser and he put it back on customer service. Customer service person said they would get back to Me. That was 24hrs ago don't think it's going to happen. Update 6/7/21 I am changing my 2 stars to a 1 they don't even deserve that. On 5/18/21 I get contacted by Nasser the sells person who is upset about the above Yelp review and said it wasn't fair to him or the company like really. Then he said it wasn't in the contact to put my kitchen back (stove and hood). Didn't put electrical outlet covers back. I paid that much money I expected them to put it back. They did my floors removed my toilet and put it back so why wouldn't they put the kitchen back the way they found it. Anyway i get a call from customer service same day stating they would refund $100 for faucet they threw away. They said that they would send me an email within two days. Mean time a few days later plumber comes and hooks up everything and it leaks. Plumber goes out of town and is unable to come back for a week. In fairness to the plumber he did answer my text right away and told me what to do. So still no refund last week I get a call from La Carpet again about the refund. I assumed I wasn't getting it since I haven't heard from them since May 18. Anyway they again said that they would refund the money for the faucet and send me an email within two days that was last Tuesday. Well moving on to today I get a text from Nasser stating I thought I was going to remove this Yelp review. I told him well I thought you were going to refund my $100. then then they had the nerve to send me a non disclosure letter that they wanted me to sign. Stating that they will refund $100 if I remove Yelp review, promise not to complain to BBB or contractors state licensing board or any other entity. Doesn't say what the $100 is for. They are out of their minds if they think I am going to sign this. fortunately i like the way the rem looks but Nasser and La Carpet in case your not clear this is poor customer service. I greatly appreciate the effort this company took to redeem themselves after my terrible experience with installation. Kathy was very helpful in getting all issues resolved and the repair guy Jose did his very best to repair and redo what original installers botched. He could only do so much as the original installers did not level the floor correctly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND consumers do research before choosing and installing flooring to understand what is and isn't included and what exactly to expect. The salesman does not always explain everything. Also, make sure to triple check your invoice and that EVERYTHING AND EVERY PROCEDURE is noted on it. Before installers leave and you sign off double check every nook and cranny. Check cabinetry where they removed and replaced appliances for damage, check toilets and sinks for proper replacement, and check transitions to ensure that will stay put. read more
