I was impressed by how clean the store is, and their fresh vegetables are reasonably priced. Also, they seem to have weekly specials which you'll see posted on yellow signs. I'm the kind of person that when you open up my pantry, you will see a rainbow of beans in clear containers. I use all kinds of beans a lot in my cooking so you can imagine my delight in seeing that they had an entire aisle dedicated to beans, lentils, and all kinds of other grains, and very affordable! You will find mostly middle eastern items here. There was an entire section dedicated to tahini, and olives! So many different kinds of olives, it was very impressive. They also have prepared foods, and an area where you can order hot food/sandwiches. I plan to come back and update my review once I try out their hot food. The summer rolls have shrunk in size last I recall but you get 3 pcs with peanut sauce (shrimp filled) for $3.50 - the non shrimp ones are $3. The snacks dept are priced reasonably. some chips/candies are under $2. The japan items are a little pricier. Staff here are friendly except for the cashier she has a little attitude when it comes to reprinting receipts. I bought 2 summer rolls - 4 chips 2 bags gummy candy and 1 box tea for a total of $24. I may come back again because some of the items they do sell I have not found elsewhere unless I do a little drive to west colonial area.

I will be going there after every Saturday hike forever more. The lists did not lie. Stasio's delivered the best sandwiches I have had in Florida. Walking in, I must have looked confused because I heard a knowing voice ask if it was my first time in. I admitted that it was and a delightful employee walked over to me to show me around. Stasio's has a deli counter, a coffee counter, and several shelves with Italian foods. I quickly learned that sandwiches are ordered at the deli and brought out to the waiting area when ready. Coffee is ordered at a cash register and the coffee is poured or prepared after purchase. Any prepared foods, together with sandwiches and fresh bread, are paid for at one of two registers. Despite the crowd -- and it was crazy busy -- everything was remarkably efficient and the staff showed no sign of stress. I ordered an Egg and Pepper sandwich and a Caprese Sandwich. Bread is made onsite and it was as fresh and delicious. (I ordered a loaf of Semolina/Italian bread and brought it home, where it was eaten within a few hours. At $4.99 for a loaf, it is an amazing value and a great treat!). Both the egg and pepper and the Caprese were prepared simply and to perfection. Fresh ingredients pack a lot of flavor and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Amazingly, I don't think Stasio's adds any fats to their sandwiches -- The egg in the egg and pepper, and the mozzarella in the Caprese do all the work. There are seats at a bar along the front window and a few tables outside, but I chose to eat in my car. At a peak time (like Noon on a Saturday), there was not a lot of available seating but it did seem that chairs opened up fairly quickly. Got a bag of onions for 1.99, Malta India was on sale for 3.99, They also had sales on a wide array of coffees. Like Presidente, this supermarket has a lot of Latin American products. I love that the Bakery had like 5 different types of bread available. Pan de agua, Cuban bread, pan sobao, etc. I will definitely frequent this market.

BUT It isn't actually Red Rice . There's such a thing called red Rice. Don't false advertise white rice and add coloring to it or add saffron . And the very dim lights make it hard to see the food and the menu. I've had better black beans . The Sweet Plantains. They're not sweet if you char them black. They're supposed to be cooked or sautéed in oil or butter sprinkle some sugar on them to create a Glaze. Pulled pork was dry Unacceptable. I usually give it 5 stars but this time it was a dissapointment.
