This has always been my go to Asian market in central Florida! They always have the best items that you can't find at other specialty markets. I come here because they always have what I'm looking for PLUS some! The produce is fresh and at a great price! Shelf's are always full and filled with variety. Service is always friendly and they always give me a drink from the cooler on my way out. It's little touches like that which are superior to chain places. Getting to know the people there and see familiar faces through the years has always been enjoyable too. Thanks so much for supplying us with the best

I was marinating some meat to prepare for tonight's dinner when I noticed the soy sauce was running low. May as well put that on the shopping list. As I was out this Saturday afternoon driving down Mills Avenue, Dong A Market just happened to be ahead. All this time I have lived here, I have never stopped in. First time for everything. Glad I stopped in too. Dong A Supermarket is big and well stocked. If you are looking for something that a recipe calls for in that oriental cookbook you got for your birthday, or if you like cooking stir fry like I do, chances are Dong A Market will have it. Spices and sauces, any type of rice or noodle, canned vegetables and fruits, fresh produce, dinnerware and cookware, it is all here. I need to by a new wok, so now I know where to go. I found an industrial size wok, but I do not need a wok that big. But I really do want that industrial size wok! The employees are friendly, and the market is well lit. Several aisles are narrow, so just take your time to maneuver around and take the time to check out some neat stuff. And I forgot to mention, Dong A Market has a good selection of beers from the orient. As I said, this is my first visit here. But it will not be the only time I stop in here. I have several recipes I want to try in those cookbooks I was gifted. And I will definitely return to Dong A Market. I really do want that industrial size wok!

Highlights: HAWAII GOODS!! Hawaiian and aloha maid canned drinks. Aloha shoyu. Laulau, kalua pig, Portuguese sausage, and zippys chili. They do not have any fresh meat section. They don't have fresh seafood. Just shrimp that we saw. Most of their meats and seafood is frozen. They have hotpot ingredients which is the other reason we came here. You can also grab boba making ingredients. They had a huge selection. We walked out with a bill of $175+. For three people and it didn't even look like that much food.

Dong A is an Asian supermarket that has a good selection of some hard to find items. I have been coming here for years and have found them a bit better priced than Asian markets on the east side of Orlando. I recommend here if you are seeking some hard to find Asian item or you are just seeking something to make your cooking a bit more adventurous.

Five stars for great customer service and abundance of products! We headed to Dong A because I needed dark mushroom soy sauce by Pearl River Bridge and this place had that & soooo much more. Dong A is a huge market on Mills Ave., across from Chi-kin, down the street from Royal Tea & further down, Pig Floyds, I am telling you, you can make a day of this outing!! Dong A has it's own small parking spaces. As we entered, we were taken aback by how big it is and how filled to the brim it is. Directly in front is the register, yes, one, that is all I saw. To the immediate right, a section of all the ramen, pancit, brands you can think of. Further right, refrigerated/freezer section with so many frozen dumplings, gyoza, noodles, seafood. To the left, rice, lots of rice, bulk if you want. A fridge with drinks, also. We asked where to find mushroom soy sauce, she said, "middle aisle 7, on the left, in the bottom" and there it was, she knew her stuff. Then we needed pure cane sugar vinegar, we went over to ask and she walked back with us and directed us, great service. We wandered the aisles of so many sauce, vinegars, spices, mushrooms, pots, woks, bowls, plates, skimmers. The produce aisle is not that big but it was full. There is a small area for prepared foods that did not look to inviting but it is nice to know they have it. Prices are great.

This particular location, the Publix near Lake Eola, is not a location I shop FREQUENTLY, but it is one that I pass through more than some other locations. It is centrally located, making it fairly easy to get to. It has FREE parking underground - which is a perk in that area because street parking, pending the day and time, can get a bit tricky to find. The staff is usually always kind. Since it is near Lake Eola, this location does get a lot of foot traffic, so at times, it can get congested. It is a bit smaller than some other locations, but again, you can get a good amount of what you need here. Outside of that, it's your standard grocery store.

I shop at other grocery stores too, but this place is definitely becoming one of my favorites. You can also bring your own reusable bags, which is a nice bonus. I live about two…read morehours away, and whenever I'm in Orlando I usually get sucked into the whole Disney Springs vibe and never make it to all the other amazing local businesses. This trip, though, there was absolutely no Disney involved -- and we finally stopped here on our way home Sunday morning. I feel like you know you're getting older when you get excited about grocery shopping. Normally when I go to Publix, I'm irritated before I even get inside. But this place? A completely different experience. Walking through and seeing all the locally grown vegetables and the meat selection -- clearly labeled as hormone-free and without all the extra junk you get at typical grocery stores -- was honestly mind-blowing. The prices were so reasonable I couldn't believe it. I purposely brought a cooler for the two-hour drive home, and even with everything I bought, I didn't spend over $100. If I had purchased the same items at Publix, I'm convinced I would've been close to (or over) $200. Beyond the prices, the quality and overall vibe made it so enjoyable. You're not breaking the bank feeding your family, and you feel good knowing you're getting better-quality food. The staff was incredibly sweet and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. I was looking for boneless chicken, and one of the employees asked if that's what I needed. A few minutes later, he came back with multiple packs in his hands to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and I really appreciated it. One thing to know: the produce and meat sections are in two separate, unconnected rooms, so you check out separately in each. And if you're still riding that high from all the money you saved, there's soft-serve ice cream outside with seating -- which just makes the experience even better. For someone who truly despises grocery shopping, this was actually fun. I will absolutely make a special trip to Orlando just to come back here -- and next time, I'm bringing a bigger cooler.

I'm watching the map and it says he's finally 4 minutes away... then I get a text saying "delivery attempted." !!!! I text the driver Marcellus and he blatantly ignored me for 20 minutes. Walmart+ said it has up to 48 hours to complete delivery... WHAT AN INANE POLICY when I'm guessing 70% of deliveries are GROCERIES. I had cold & frozen items in my order. I wasn't waiting. Sooo in my pajamas, exhausted, I get my stuff. I check out, I ask for a manager bc idk how a grocery delivery service can let such egregious behavior ride from an employee. How many seniors shop at Walmart????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Here's the funny thing, one of my very first jobs 22 years ago was an overnight Walmart associate in KY where I'm from.... I KNOW Walmart policy inside & out. Management & Marcellus basically ignoring a customer goes against pretty much the entire mission statement, employee expectations, all of it. I canceled my W+ membership in the parking lot. I had used it quite often in the past 2 years but oh well. I'm still just blown away. I know I'm not one to mince my words, but I stand by what I said bc there would have been consequences for both the manager & Marcellus at the store I worked at. I say this bc I saw long term employees get hit with write ups or even fired for much smaller infractions. Safe to say I broke up with Walmart last night. Why get treated like dirt to save what -- $5, maybe $10? No, thank you.

This Publix is exactly what you'd expect from this beloved Florida chain. The store is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, if a little dingy and worn down on the outside. The aisles are spacious, the shelves are well-stocked, and it's simple to find both everyday essentials and specialty items. Their produce and bakery sections are great here, with colorful and appealing fresh fruits and veggies and a large bakery that has a decent selection of breads, cakes, cookies, and pies. There's a nice prepared foods section too, which is great if you want a quick and healthier meal in your hotel room without having to cook. This location isn't fancy, but it carries a ton of different brands. As with all Publix supermarkets, the prices are on the higher side. This isn't the store to shop if you're looking for a bargain. The parking lot is spacious and easy to navigate, which already sets the tone for a smooth, stress-free visit. Once inside, you quickly realize just how expansive this market truly is--you could easily spend an hour (or more) exploring every aisle without even noticing the time go by. What makes this market stand out is its depth and authenticity. As an Asian supermarket, it offers an extraordinary range of products that go far beyond what you'll find in standard grocery stores. The produce section alone is worth the visit--fresh, vibrant fruits and vegetables, many of which are unique or hard to find elsewhere, are beautifully displayed and constantly restocked. As you move through the aisles, you'll discover an impressive selection of: Specialty herbs, spices, and seasonings Authentic sauces and condiments from across Asia An entire world of noodles, rice varieties, and pantry staples A wide assortment of snacks, beverages, and imported goods If you're cooking Asian cuisine, you will find absolutely everything you need here--no exceptions. It's the kind of place where both home cooks and seasoned food lovers can get inspired just by walking through the aisles. Beyond groceries, Lotte Plaza Market feels more like an international marketplace. You'll find plants, beauty products, and specialty items, adding to the overall experience and making it more than just a place to shop--it's a place to explore. A helpful tip: since many items are imported, be mindful to check expiration dates on packaged goods, and keep an eye out for promotions. Some products can be on the pricier side, but there are definitely great deals if you take a moment to browse. One of the highlights--and honestly one of the main reasons I return--is the indoor food court-style dining area. There are several small eateries where you can order directly at the counter. While the setup is casual and straightforward, the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and satisfying--perfect for a quick and delicious stop during your visit. To elevate the experience even further, the market also features a French bakery, along with beauty boutiques and a hair salon, giving it the feel of a small international plaza rather than a traditional grocery store. Overall, Lotte Plaza Market delivers on every level--selection, authenticity, and experience. Whether you're shopping for specific ingredients, discovering new products, or simply stopping in for a quick bite, it's absolutely worth the visit. Even if you're not familiar with Asian cuisine, this is the kind of place you go to explore, learn, and enjoy something different. If you haven't been yet, I highly recommend making the trip--you'll understand why the moment you walk in.
