My mother and I were very happy to be able to have gone for a flamenco show while in Sevilla! It was well priced and a great experience. Great show in a easy to find spot. Some things to note: there are no food and drinks served during the show, you'll be sitting in one of many chairs around a stage and may be blocked in certain spots by pillars, theres no videography or photography until the last 2 minutes of the show.

We went here as a part of a food tour called "tapas and flamenco" and got to experience an authentic flamenco show performed in the land of flamenco. This place is also a hotel but we were just here for the flamenco show which was in a small venue performed in the authentic style with an amazing Spanish guitar player, a gypsy singer (really more like cantor), and two dancers-one male and one female. The performance lasted 1 hour and consisted of several different styles flamenco including Sevilleanno (man/woman dancing together) as well as individual performances by each of the artists. Certainly a fun and memorable night.
Yes, its touristy and you're not gonna see any locals in the audience, but I still found the show entertaining and performance captivating. I'd only seen flamenco on television before this, so I came in with low expectations, but seeing Flamenco live is an entirely different and entrancing experience. Unlike ballet and hip hop, flamenco dancers don't just dance to do the music, they also make the music with each loud stomp, using their bodies and feet as instruments. Love it! I only wish the show went on a little longer than an hour. 18€ for adults for the show only. Well worth it! Located within the Hotel Alacantara, its still hard to find in the narrow streets of Sevilla, so give yourself extra time if you're walking there.
Slow start but maybe that was the traditional dance style? It got going into it later and the last 35 minutes of the 60 minute performance was energetic. It got very loud and I wish I had ear plugs. Seating starts 20 minutes before the performance, and they will seat in order to the best seats. So don't show up less than 15 minutes early or you risk sitting on the side.
Someone in an earlier review mentioned that this is definitely a tourist activity and that you will not see locals... which is 100% accurate. Yes! I was a tourist, and I was definitely NOT going to miss seeing an authentic Flamenco show in Sevilla! How could I? I have to say though that finding this gem's location was a total accident, I had booked tickets online for a night (10:30p I think) show and I was already in the area during the day visiting and walking around when we came upon the tiny entrance. We quickly realized that we would not be able to find this place at night and from the main street lol! so we walked in and asked if we could move our tickets to the showing that was starting at that time... we got so lucky! They were super kind and accommodating and allowed us to sit for that earlier showing. Yes, this is a really intimate setting. As you can see in the photos, there are only two rows of chairs along the sides and in the front of the stage. No additional sound amplifiers, only the strong voice of the cantaor carrying each song through and the amazing guitarist. The dancers we had the pleasure of watching were fantastic. I have danced Flamenco as a kid and this was the real deal- it felt authentic. The steps resonate throughout your soul while you are in here! I was just a tiny bit disappointed that the dancers faced mostly the front of the stage but it overall did not diminish the quality of the performance, at that price point- it could not be beat! Recommended!
Great Flamenco show. The group we saw was La Revolera Flamenco. The dancing and singing was great. I was most impressed by the guitarist. A lot of content packed into 1 hour. I agree with other reviews that you won't see any locals here. However, I was happy to be a tourist and enjoy such a colorful cultural experience. I would recommend this place to friends. No pictures allowed until the end of the show (they will tell you when it's ok ). I wish the chairs were a little bit more comfortable, everything else was superb.
Great place and intimate atmosphere. Would recommend for your Flamenco experience. There is a duet then solo male and female. All with a great singer and guitar player. Make sure you get your tickets ahead of time. Online is very easy.
Spectacular and emotionally moving show and reasonably priced! Wouldn't change a thing! Highly recommend if you are having trouble deciding which flamenco show to see.
This was my first time watching a flamenco show and it was an absolutely hypnotic experience. As I watched, I couldn't help but really be pulled into the range of emotions the artists were exhibiting. As I mentioned before, this was my first and only flamenco show, so I can't tell you if it's better or worse than any other shows, but I can say that I really really enjoyed myself. We read to arrive early, so we did just that. The last show was at 10PM and we got there around 9:15PM. We had a great seat up front. It cost €18 per person and I thought it was worth it. They stress not to take any pictures or videos until they give you the signal, as it can distract the performers --which is fair.

Highly recommended if you're staying in Sevilla. A perfect introduction to flamenco that left me and the family wanting more. Staff was a delight and the experience was simple and elegant and gives you a lovely taste of the local culture. read more

Excellent show lasting about 1 hr. Male and female flamenco dancers performed beautifully with wardrobe changes. Singers and guitarist also wonderful. Seating is 2-3 rows deep, u shaped, first come pick best seating. read more
Excellent, smaller (maybe 40 customers) and intimate venue for catching a Flamenco show in Sevilla. It was very close to my hotel and I liked the fact they offered a 10:00PM (22:00) show which I was able to catch after dinner. All the performers were great, price was reasonable (21 Euro if I recall), and customers were able to photograph/video at the very end of the show. Highly recommend. read more

Seeing a Flamenco show was at the top of our to-do list while in Seville. Casa del Flamenco was very close to our hotel, and was recommended by others. The tickets sell out, so make sure you get yours in advance (we were able to get tickets just the day before the show). You can purchase them online or at the venue. The venue is shockingly intimate, with only two rows of seats around the three sides of the stage. The performance lasts an hour, and includes 2 dancers (1 male, 1 female), a singer, and a guitar player. They all performed together, and also had turns dancing/performing alone and in smaller groups to showcase each of their talents. Personally, I did not enjoy the show very much, but please take that with a grain of salt! I did not have a true understanding of what "flamenco" was before the show, and learned that it's not for me. That's not the performers fault, however - as many others enjoyed the show. I have to point out that the staff are incredibly friendly + helpful. When we arrived to purchase tickets, an employee gave us a mini tour and a lot of information about exactly what we'd expect from the show, and was very happy to help us out. read more

Very much liked the performance at this place. The venue itself is small and intimate which is great because you can see every tapping step the dancers take as well as their facial expressions in certain dances. Recommended must for anyone visiting Seville. read more

Small intimate setting with approximately 100 seats. Not a bad seat in the house. The dancers are amazing as are the musicians. Guitar solos unbelievable, so talented!! Photos were not allowed until the end of the show. Get there early as you are lined up in the order you arrive with the best seats going first (Surprise!). Our group got there 40 minutes before the show and were seated front and center. Awesome, authentic entertainment read more

You want to experience great Flamenco, this is the place for you. The Dancer are amazing, specially the lady, they was she danced and expresses herself on that Beautiful Gitana Dress and the used of the Sevillanas will make you say Wao many times during her performance. A must see if you are in Seville and around Barrio Santa Cruz which is also a great place to grab a meal. There are several restaurant for you to pick. read more

The 1 hour performance was simply sensational. We were spell bound by the dancer, the singer, and the guitar player. The singer just sang his heart out with that throaty voice that seem to invest his whole soul into the song. The dancers were full of passion and every movement was full of tension. The guitar music also was so unusual that you will just love it. read more
