Listen... this is the most honest review you're going to get. This place is not worth it. This was my first Tablao experience and, if I didn't know any better, it would be my last. Food was extremely average. Not very hard to serve veggies and mashed potatoes. The meat and dessert were eh. The table height and the seats were quite uncomfortable. The servers were great (only thing really keeping this review alive). The performance felt boring and tacky and honestly I couldn't wait for it to be over. We booked this tour via Viator. We got the show and tapas and 1 drink per person. I was expecting small plates and to my surprise, the number of dishes just kept on coming. We had salmon tartare, tomato gazpacho, boneless duck, cod fish, mousse cake, etc. For drink, you can choose wine, beer, sangria, soda or water. The food was so much that you can basically call it dinner. Trust me. It's pretty good for the price. Now the show was absolutely amazing and it was our first time to a flamenco show. All the performance and music were on point and LIVE. The mixtures of performers (man as well) were exciting to watch. They dance with extreme passion and it shows on stage. We got there at 6pm and the show started around 7 for about little over an hour. Definitely highly recommended and it will receive a 5 stars from me. read more

Located within walking distance of the Cathredral of Seville. I made reservations via our concierge at the AC hotel - who suggested this Flamenco dancing show over another venue. They have two shows nightly. Since many of the restaurants were on siesta, I chose the early show with no dinner option but included one drink. The theater is small and seats less than 50 people - intimately romantic. The dancers were incredibly talented as well as the musicians. Every instrument was acoustical and nothing electrical.The entertainers were so intense and passionate - they were perspiring profusely while dancing, singing and played for several hours. I'm glad we made it a point to attend this show because it was cultural and entertaining in a great atmosphere. I would recommend this venue if you plan on visiting Seville. El Arenal has a combo Flamenco and dinner show. There are 2 shows per night at 8PM and 10PM The food included in the ticket price was a meat & cheese plate, 3 tapas, dessert, and a drink. You can order additional items at extra cost. Nothing too memorable about the food, but the Flamenco show was very entertaining. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND GOING HERE IF YOU'RE IN SEVILLA!!! We did the full dinner and show (buy the tickets early and online, you'll get it almost 50% cheaper compared to the door price) and enjoyed the food, the drinks and the dance so much. They serve you a 4 four course dinner along with a bottle of wine. You can pick your courses from their menu once you arrive. I got the chicken Milanese and was extremely happy with my choice. You can also choose to just have a drink and enjoy the show. But I would recommend the dinner and show. It was a great meal! The show was intense, emotional and mesmerizing!! Best flamenco we have seen so far in Spain. Dress nicely! You'll be greeted by the servers in suits and tux. Most people are nicely dressed with a few exceptions. DO NOT take pics inside of the performers , people apparently get kicked out for that. I wish we could go back again during our trip, but I hope to be back here if I'm in Sevilla again. read more

When in Sevilla, one of the best things to go do is to see a flamenco show! We booked tickets for this show at Tablao El Arenal through Viator, which is a Trip Advisor company. It was $79.98 for the two of us and the price included the 2 hour show and a drink of our choice (but to be honest we ordered more). The staff were all very pleasant and we enjoyed the wine. We got seated next to a couple enjoying their honeymoon and they were very sweet. We were at a center table so we had a great view once the show started. They had different types of performances and it kept my attention the whole night. I was entranced by the beat that they kept with their steps and their costumes were cool as well. There was some live guitar and singing and it was all fabulous. I am very glad that we made this part of our experience in Sevilla! If I came back I would have booked the tickets that included tapas because the food looked good here too. read more

Hands down the best flamenco show I've ever seen!! I've seen a few flamenco shows in different cities in Spain (noone famous), but El Arenal is THE PLACE for flamenco!! So passionate, so enthusiastic, so intense, and soooooo caliente!! ¡Olééééééééé! Unquestionably the most memorable part of the show was the male dancer, he was on FUEGO!! ¡Ayyyyyyyyy! ¡Vaya qué arte tioooooo!!! This small cozy restaurant is just on a small street just off the main avenue that runs along the river. We had selected the tapas and show option. Seats were very good, in the middle of the room. Had to get there at 9pm for the 10 o'clock show. Very good selection of food, including a delicious foie gras, tender duck and a well prepared cod fish topped with a tomato and olive sauce. We booked well ahead of coming to Seville & paid €78 for two tickets to the show with a drink - however having been to two other flamenco places (both of which were significantly cheaper & way better value ) we were disappointed with this location as the focus is more on feeding as many people before the show than the show. There's too much noise from diners chatting whilst the show goes on, not enough respect to the performers who by the way were excellent especially the female dancers. An amazing flamenco show! I was so enthralled with the music and dancing, I would highly recommend. They didn't really have any vegan options on their dinner menu so we just got the tickets that included a drink with entrance to the show which we thought were very reasonably priced compared to other shows in the area. We were seated right on the side of the stage. The area was really cramped and the seats weren't very comfortable but I forgot all about those issues once the show started. The dancing was amazing! This place is located within a ten minute walk of the core of Seville, right near the bull fighting arena. The performance itself was quite great, not like anything I've ever seen before. The dancers were very fit and energetic, while the musicians were in tune and very melodious. The lighting also was set in sync to their dancing. All in all, a very unique experience. There is a 8 and 10PM show nightly. We booked through viator and had a 90 minute show + drink for 40€. I'd recommend not taking the food option when booking - if you only take a drink you can sit right up front and get amazing seats! You're probably going to go see Flamenco - cause you're in Spain, right? And the hotel probably isn't wrong in recommending this place - who am I to say if a different show would have been better. However - DO NOT GET THE TAPAS! Hands down, the worst meal that we ate in Spain, including air travel. You have ticket options for just drinks, drinks and tapas, or a full dinner. I can't imagine what the people that had dinner thought of the experience, but it probably lasted all night (if you know what I'm saying!) The tapas we had were - well - horrible. Tourist food for sure, it seemed like most of the locals (and there were a number of them) weren't eating. The folks who just had drinks either had *great* seats (at the stage) or bad seats in the very back of the house. So get there a little early and jockey for position when the door opens. (Seating appeared to be first come, first serve.) Overall, if you're in Spain and want to see people move their feet really really fast - hit the bull fight. If that's not available, Tablao Flamenco El Arenal should probably fill the need. read more

Overall a Great show, this is the razzle dazzle version of flamenco at a tableo you could possibly find in Andalusia. Show features a great variety of performers and various palos depending on performers. Usually solea, bulerias and farruca; if you are lucky then Sevillanas. i highly recommend this if you're in sevilla. for just drinks, it is €41. but with tapas, it's €60 and i'm not sure abt dinner. i opted for the tapas, and i'm so happy i chose that. i think the dinner option is a bigger portion (racion) of the tapa and you are able to choose what you want. but having tapas allowed me to try so many different things for only an additional €20. and it was definitely worth it, especially with how fancy they were. first, we got this salad with pineapple and caviar on top. i didn't like the salad too much since there was too much dressing. the fried fish was alright, but i think we ate it when it cooled down so it wasn't crispy. the salmon tartare over a bed of avocado was amazing. the salmon was a bit on the salty side but putting it over the bread tasted really good. then we got this fish in tomato sauce and braised beef over mash potatoes with truffle. both were good and such large portions. we were left so full, but then they brought us dessert. we had this type of caramel tiramisu i think. honestly they didn't tell us what anything was so i'm not entirely sure. i really enjoyed the tiramisu, but not the ice cream beside it. they give you an hour to eat, and then the show starts. the flamenco dancers were good, especially the male flamenco dancer. he was phenomenal. there was a guy playing the guitar throughout the night, and two guys singing. one was singing his heart out but did have some voice cracks, and the other guy didn't really add much vocally and just kept saying "ole". honestly the cast didn't see that prepared or professional in the beginning. but i would recommend the show still. just beware that you won't be able to film anything here. also, beware if they seat you at the front of the stage. when one of the female flamenco dancers was dancing, her dress swept a lot of dust onto our table, which is probably why they don't want you to eat during the show. read more
