The spinach was a little disappointing, as it was not fresh and not seasoned well. But the rest of our dishes were good. We tried the crepe suzette for our dessert. I didn't expect it, but the crepe was flambe on the table. It was done poorly, though, so the sauce never really caramelized and tasted heavily of alcohol. Overall, the shop was cute and the food was interesting. The service was very kind and though it took a little bit for the food to come out, I could tell it was because care was being put into making the dish fresh and hot.

I ordered a cafe chocolat and went into the back room to wait. I was surprised to find a fairly large room with six or eight tables all with that country rustic non-matching thing going on. There was a large bookshelf along half of the back wall with a number of games and rows of books to borrow. I just sat at a table and drank my coffee - it was a lovely small relaxing little place. I did not try the food so can't comment there. The woman who served me did not rush me at all and in the end was quick to settle up with me when I was ready to leave. All good!

The cheesecake looks very average, but don't let that deter you from the amazing taste. I was surprised at how smooth and full of flavour it was as it melted in my mouth. The crust was harder on some areas but this is very minor in comparison to the rest of the cake. In terms of price, this costed 5 euro and I would classify this as on the pricier end of cheesecakes. I would try it again though as the price doesn't really compare to the quality here. The service here was superb. The employees were very friendly and helpful and worked fast as well.
