    Sesame eclair

Another day, another bakery to visit! We checked out this bakery and picked out two things to share: the sesame elcair and pain suisse. I enjoyed both of the items, but preferred the sesame eclair more. It was a nice and sweet taste infused with the black sesame flavor. The pain suisse was very flakey and filled with chocolate. It was also quite heavy, you should definitely share this!

Utopie epitomizes a blend of classic French patisserie techniques with some modern options . Of course croissants and baguettes are on offer. How about squid ink baguette? Black sesame bun? Some unique flavors and artisanal care here. Must try!

The line outside the shop is for a good reason. This bakery was so delicious. You definitely need to know what you're going to order when you get to the counter. There are so many delicious pastries and cakes to try. There is no seating to stay so you'll have to takeaway. Smells like butter!

Where do I start... hmm, ok the baguette. Hands down, it's the best baguette I have eaten. Even after all of the other bakeries we tried while in Paris, we kept coming back for this delight (a number I am not comfortable sharing here). Somehow, this place has perfected its customer demand for baguettes because we went here three different times in the day and each time we got hot baguettes. After making a mistake the first time by only getting one baguette because we finished it by the time we got back to the hotel, we bought multiple the subsequent times visiting. Sourdough bread, using naturally leavening only, with a perfect crust and chewy inside, this baguette cannot be beaten. For me, the breads were the rockstar here. We also tried the green tea sourdough that was intended to mimic genmaicha, and it was marvelous. Roasted rice on the outside with intense green tea flavor on the inside - something you have to try for yourself. We also tried a smattering of their pastries. All were delicious, but I recommend the sesame swirl, the sesame eclair and the fig tart - but you can't go wrong! Bon appetit!

Croissant was perfect- warm, chocolatey, almond paste wasn't lost, croissant had crunch from the and the ground pistachios. Lime moves quickly, not a spot to be missed. My only qualm is that the croisssant I ordered said it was 2.60€ (see photo), when I went to pay I was told 4€.

Nothing like arriving from your red-eye flight, dropping off your bags, and finding this little gem as your first boulangerie of the trip! Loves: + The best boulangerie in the biz and I don't even live in Paris, but my gosh. It's all so delightful. + Delicious sandwiches and pastries + Line moves quickly + Staff are quick but also friendly + Best Baguette in Paris 2024 I took some baguettes home from this spot and wish I could have fit more. Until we meet again, Utopie x3

I love trying local bakeries everywhere I go! This was close to the hotel and I saw it after going to the supermarket. It caught my eye because there was a line out the door yo go inside! It is small, but they have unique flavors or twists from the classics. The girl in front of me was a local and she told me it was worth the wait. I took her advice and got the cheesecake which was devine! Airy, fluffy and not overly sweet. I also got an eclair and it was airy and filled generously. Worth the wait in line!

We heard about their accolade and had to pay them a visit. Winner of the Best Baguette in Paris 2024.... heck yeah we got to try it out! What struck me odd was seeing bees on the pastry side. Threw me off a bit but when I realized that if its good enough for them, you know it's the real deal. Line, of course, was long both mornings we visited. It was actually pretty quick so didn't have linger long for our goods. If you have a chance to try their baguette straight from the oven... wow. You are in for a treat. I did not expect a crispy outside layer with such soft/chewy texture inside. It was addicting. We picked up a croissant, eclair, and a brioche bun. All were delicious. If you see from the pictures of their inside, its quite small. But the cases were packed with plenty of baked goods. Wished we packed a few of these breads for the road. We are definitely stopping by here next time we are in town. I would recommend a visit here. Since there are no tables around, you can visit a local coffee shop around the corner and enjoy your spread in peace while dodging the bees. Love you guys but its my baguette. Get your own.

We came early in the morning around 9:00am and there was a long line to order. It took around 10-15 minutes which gave us enough time to decide what we wanted. We got the sesame scroll and the chausson aux pomme. The sesame scroll had a pretty strong sesame flavour. It was very decadent and not bad. The chausson aux pomme was life changingly good. It was crunchy on the outside. Not overly sweet. There are a lot of apples inside. The inside is moist but in a good way and it doesn't make the outside soggy. I don't know how they do it. I could only imagine how good it would taste warm. I also loved the tartness of the apples I would definitely recommend this place for their pastries

Beautiful array of breads and pastries. Very friendly service! My kids inhaled the pain au chocolate. Fresh pain aux cereal even in the middle of the day.

One of the best bakeries I visited in Paris on my most recent trip. I tried: + Eggplant quiche + Sesame roulé + Plum tart + Chocolate almond croissant + Charcoal baguette The highlights were the roulé and the plum tart, though the quiche was also fantastic. Overall incredible!

This is one of the best bakeries I've ever been to, and definitely the best one we tried in Paris. Their baguette was the best thing, so much so that we rushed back from the Eiffel Tower before the closed to snag a few more to take home. The service here is wonderful, everyone is so friendly and helpful. The store is small but cute and there tends to be a line at different times of the day. Their sesame roll was our other favorite, and hubby loved the salmon sandwich on the black sesame roll. Highly recommend and would totally come back if we were in Paris.

I came to this Boulangerie multiple times in Paris. I can't get over their 2024 winning world best baguette. It was delightful and brought happiness during my stay in Paris. I'm back in Las Vegas and as soon as I got adjusted from my jet lag, searched for local bakery to see what match the quality Boulangerie Utopie. Trader Joe's come close but. I give it 3 on the scale of 1-10 compare to Boulangerie Utopie. I checked Lees sandwich baguette. Paris baguette on Maryland parkway. Costco but nothing comes close. I gave up. The only thing I can do to really enjoy true Parisian best baguette is to go back. It's ok. I go there often but the moments of craving becomes challenging.

Croissant had butter. Butter was warm, croissant wasn't. Location was in Paris, not good. Overall, just okay.

I highly recommend the croissant, flan, and the sourdough bread. Skip the eclaire and the smoked salmon sandwich.

Another great boulangerie. This place is slightly larger than the one down the street with a…read moreslightly wider selection. It gets a cheaper rating but I thought the prices were very comparable to the other boulangeries in the neighborhood.Again they had great croissants (I tried them at every boulangerie we visited) and their large macaron "sandwiches" were also delicious (although not my MOST favorite of the ones we tried in Paris). This place was also just a few steps from our apartment so we visited it a lot as well. None of the women that served us during the week spoke English but again, you don't need much in a boulangerie. The service was always friendly and efficient. Often this place was busy but service was quick. No outdoor seating, and they were open until 8pm which was awesome. Later in the day you'll find that pastries and bread are not as fresh but even though we got macaron "sandwiches" at 7pm and they seemed a little damp from the fresh fruit in them, the taste was delicious. The outer shells of the macarons were slightly tough but the overall texture wasn't bad. the berries (we tried frambriose and fraise, or raspberry and strawberry) were incredibly fresh and tasty. I'm sure if we had purchased them earlier in the day they would have been even better. We also had the coffee eclairs and they were amazing!!! I don't care that much for eclairs as I do no like the type of bread used for them, but these were good enough that I'd get them again. The filling was rich and the coffee taste was outstanding.
