We had the pumpkin cream with ham, which was in essence a soup. Nothing exciting. The swordfish ceviche was fresh and delicious. The sausage was melt in the mouth crumbly. We were given thinly sliced air dried tuna on the house. It was beautiful. Paella de mariscos was the star of the show. We also had the valenciana which was a little over seasoned but tasty. Our baby was asleep in the car, so we could have a relaxed very early dinner (or very late lunch) surrounded by locals and served by two lovely middle aged men. The food was definitely good, the offerings plenty and everything had so much heart that we could feel it with every cell of our bodies. An incredible last moment to a great day trip. I hope they keep it up and stay true to what they offer here: down to earth eating experience that will have you dreaming of times past (at least if you're around 40 now).

The one waitress on duty during our visit was not able at all to handle all the tables simultaneously and we had to wait sooooo long until our food arrived that we had almost given up on it. Which should have been a warning but then it tasted so good and we wanted some desert. Most tables seemed to have been served by then so we felt we could take the risk. But first it took an eternity until we could place the order for two pieces of cake and two coffees and after we were still waiting for them half an hour later we simply gave up! Really sad, as the place is otherwise quite nice.... At least if you don't sit in the music crossfire between what is played in the restaurant and what the kitchen staff is blasting from their corner.
