I've been coming to La Cordée for over 10 years, often for morning coffee and to use their wi-fi when visiting my husband's Swiss relatives. Service is prompt. The owners work hard, and while they might not be extroverted or smiling, they're kind and care about what they serve.
Their crepes and mushroom puff pastries are delicious, as are their cheese dishes (fondue, croute au fromage, which you can have in a petite or larger size). This fall, we tried their "brisolée," a basket of roasted chestnuts with a plateau of cheese (and meat if you want). It's served with a lovely apple tart, too. Fun to eat and delicious, plus the huge portion was reasonably priced. read more
