For a family of five we ordered three skewer platters (two chicken and one beef kebabs). Since we were particularly hungry, I think that we would have benefitted from ordering another plate or two (each plate came with two kebabs), but it was all delicious! We especially liked the bread that they provided, and I enjoyed the hummus and baba ghanoush as well. The meat was very tender and soft, and the wait staff was also very courteous. After a few days of eating European food, it was nice to just eat some chicken and rice. I won't be returning to Switzerland for a while, so I unfortunately won't be able to come back to Layaly Beirut, but I leave this review here so that others may try the tasty Lebanese cuisine served at this establishment.

We called, booked a reservation, drove to Tabla. Found immediate parking in front of the restaurant. As soon as we entered we were greeted, seated and service began promptly. Ambiance was good. We decided to try the 6 course vegetarian tasting menu and to our surprise the food was delicious!! We did not expect to have such delicious, flavourful food in Lugano. We started with samosa which had a very unique flavour, that set the course for what to expect from the experience. Our favourite was their version of Dosa and the vegan rose kulfi. Least favourite was dahi puri. Everything else tasted... (is sophisticated a word that can be used to describe flavour? Then that would be it) Overall we loved it! Gagan was kind to come and introduce himself and make sure everything went well. If you visit Lugano, definitely give this place a try!

The owner was the nicest guy ever. He treated us to appetizer & ice cream. He spent a lot of time with us & took pictures with us. For my main, I went with the barg kebab, which came with a piece of tadig (crunchy rice) which I loved. Nicely cooked kebab. The nice owner seeing that I was dining alone brought me a complimentary dessert - sholeh zard which was great, sweet, but not too sweet as it should be.
