Delicious! We also grabbed a slice of their homemade coffee cake. Again, delicious! And of course, some beans for our rental to make early morning coffees before the sunrise. My parents went back on their own trip and ordered a pork roll & cheese on a Kaiser roll sandwich (see pic for the ample serving size) and mentioned they had a morning/mid-day live musician serenading them while they ate outside. So fun! They offer outdoor seating and also lunch (I believe they close around 2p). Parking for most of these spots on the shore can be found on the street, although walkable pending where you're staying down the shore. Highly recommend!

Their fun and funky flavored "pressed waffles". From the Plain Jane (what we ordered) which is just a Leige Waffle dusted with powdered sugar, to the Lava Flow, topped with banana, walnuts, peanut butter, and maple syrup, there's a little something for everyone. I noticed they also have paninis made from the waffles like The Hangover which is pork roll and cheese, or The Joey which crispy bacon and cheddar cheese. Yum! We tried their sweet cream cold brew and nitro cold brew, both solid choices. We also tried something fun ~ a frozen, vanilla affogato to-go in a popsicle sleeve. Honestly so innovative for beach-goers and those that want a pick-me-up on the move. Also perfect to throw in your cooler for the shore. Service was great and turn-key, and loved the ambiance of this spot (see pics). Street parking available. Would def come back next year!

After the temp, for the fifth day in a row, exceeded 95 before 10AM, a frozen hot chocolate was the only thing that could satiate me alongside my pork roll, egg, and cheese bagel! The chocolaty goodness, the cold ice crystals, the sweetness of the drink and the whipped cream. Yes, that made life bearable for a bit. While there a staff member realized the lights were off and turned them, and then realized it was making it warmed and quickly turned them off. Smart move! Cute little building with some seats at a counter around the sides (and a few outside, though nobody was biting on those that day). The server pulled our chairs out, the host was kind and smiley and our waitress was so down to earth. Mila the founder was also here greeting guests haha. The decor was nice, lots of flowers and girly things, my wife loved it and took pictures. The breakfast burrito was killer, the lavender lemonade while not very purple was out of this world. Beach Culture is unabashedly that - a little eatery that celebrates all things beachy! Having said this, I appreciate Beach Culture for what it is - a little stop for a small bite on the way to the beach. Young, beach-going vacationers will feel the pull of the waves as they stop in for a smoothie or an acai bowl. (If I was a kid, that's what I would do anyway!) I purchased a few of their toasts both times - for $4.50 each, the price is admittedly a liiiiiittle on the steep side for some bread with toppings, but Beach Culture needs to survive somehow, right? I do have to say, both toasts were very well balanced with fruit and toppings (one was banana / peanut butter / cacao and the other was strawberry / nutella / cacao ) - really nice for a light breakfast. I also grabbed a shaka coffee which was extremely tasty - and I can't wait to try their other specialty mixes. There are a few things that prevent me from giving Beach Culture five stars, even if those things can't be helped. But it's BEACH CULTURE, so if you're in a rush when going to this place, are you even at the beach? I also will admit their menu is a bit limited, but I take it for face value. The girls who work here are so helpful despite it being crazy busy all the time. I've ordered the regular Playa acai bowl and added in on extra PB, strawberry, chia seeds, and cocoa nibs. The acai power is also good and I subbed it with vanilla protein powder. It barely altered the taste of the bowl. My boyfriend loves the coconut power and it definitely holds its frozen consistency better than others I've had. My one comment would be that the poke concept within the shop does change up the smell of the place. It doesn't necessarily leave a bad smell, but I do think the two compete with each other. Would rather the smoothie bowl store smelling sweet instead of savory!
