Arriving in Evian at 1:30 PM is not a good time for hungry people since you will have a hard time getting served lunch, but this place was recommended in that you can. We ate outside, noting that inside is air conditioned, a pleasant surprise. They have a nice menu of the day and loads of pizzas, salads and what looked like very good pasta. The waiter was very nice to us, however note that the people next to us got up and left since they said how rude he was...he asked them if they want to order yet because if not he had other things to do and they got all huffy and left. Can't say that I dont blame them for leaving, but listen, he needs his 2 hour lunch break too you know, after, all it is France! I ordered the L'Italie pizza which had some parma ham slices and roquette, it was very good, although I have had better crust elsewhere. Considering there was no where else to go it was a good lunch, the waiter was nice to me, the ambiance was great to sit outside on such a perfect weather day. read more
