We ordered our blinds 6 weeks ago for over 10 windows and 2 sliding glass doors and paid over $7k. The first set that arrived had mistakes (different from what we ordered), then the second set also had mistakes (not what we ordered and pieces missing). With the second attempt, the installer did install 3 of the window blinds and we noticed quality issues with the hardware (wiggles around in the brackets) and the blinds (e.g., used black tape to attach the white fabric to the role and the black tape is visible when you pull the blind down). The installer also installed each one crooked so we asked him to stop. I have now been waiting for days for somebody to call me back and address these problems. They have a no refund policy so beware in dealing with this company. read more

Our consult seemed to go really well, and we went ahead with a purchase. That's where it fell apart. We were sold a system that didnt even work for our pergola. You would think the designer would have known that. Once we paid, they came out to measure and the technician identified right away that they wouldnt work. Our designer at that point became diffivcult to contact, and tried to sell us on an inferior product that we already told her was a non-starter. When asking for a refund I got ghosted, then got vaguq answers like " billing has submitted to accounting and they are reviewing your file." and "Im sorry for the delay we have been training new reps" (as if that has anythung to do with my refund.) This went on for days without ever getting a follow-up call or seeing our refund. Customer service is so bad. Finally, when notifying them that I was filing a fraudulent business transaction with my credit card, I got a response. It shouldn't be that difficult. All of this could have been prevented by their sales team knowing the feasibility of what they are selling. And it could have been fixed by a team that actually cares about customer service. I was hesitant about getting the remote because I had a terrible experience in the past with the home depot windows treatment remotes, but LA Custom Blinds remote are far more superior. The cellular shades were incorrectly delivered--one window was missing entirely, the frame color was wrong, and the quality was not what was presented. Initially, they tried to suggest this was what I had ordered, which was clearly not the case. I am still waiting for the correction. For the bedroom drapery, the installation revealed uneven hemming. The installer himself was excellent, but the product was not. The curtains were taken back for correction, and I've now been without bedroom curtains for over 10 days--with another delay of nearly two weeks expected. What's most disappointing is the response: instead of prioritizing an existing, partially fulfilled order (already paid for in part), I was told they are busy with new orders. The responsibility was subtly shifted onto me rather than handled with accountability.
