All restaurants closed during my stay in late December, and nothing close by without walking in traffic. The hotel is next to the Capodimonte art museum, one of Naples' best, at the edge of a large park. The front entrance is on a traffic circle that gets busy during rush hour. Rooms facing the traffic circle have shutters and heavy curtains, but it would be best to make sure you get a room on the quiet side. Room size varies dramatically. The first room I had was huge and well furnished, but it faced the rotary and had some (but not constant) noise. The alternative was little more than a closet with a bed. I kept the first. The other reviews and the website mention multiple restaurants, but none were open in December. Breakfast was ok. Lots of choices for pastry, less for other items. There are buses right outside the hotel. Crossing the busy street is a challenge - there's no light, but that's typical in Naples. Fabulous desk candies. Dark chocolate covered espresso beans. Don't eat too many late at night. Some odd omissions. No kettle in the room. Tiny TV mounted too high on the wall. If they had a place to get food, even a small shop like many motels, they'd easily get another star. It's a good location, away from the max chaos of the city, but much closer than Sorrento, the usual "get me out of here!" alternative. I asked if any of the three restaurants mentioned on the website are ever open. Answer: "only for banquets." I'm not pleased that while this has been true for some time, they have not changed the website. I usually reserve one star ratings for places that are dangerous or unsanitary, but I part of my stay here was over New Year.s, when almost everything in Naples is closed. I thought s large breakfast would suffice for the days meal. Wrong, I was there 30 minutes before the end of breakfast and found most everything missing. No eggs, no cheese, no meats except for a few nasty looking bits of dried out sausage. No bread. Event the coffee and juice dispensing machines were not working and covered up. All they can offer for lunch and dinner is a drink in the bar. Everything in the city is closed on 1 Jan. Even the bus lines here don't run. This is at best, a two star property, with a four star website. Downgraded to one for false advertising.
