They were selling lady clothing, men clothing, ladies accessories like cute earrings for cheap, kid toys, etc. The food area was large. They had all kinds of Spanish snacks and restaurant style food. Even had a carnival outside for any age to play on. You surely will get stared at if you aren't Hispanic. I felt profiled as I adventured this flea market with my sister.

There were tons of young families and student shoppers at this trendy market full of funky handmade jewelry, soap, and thrift clothes. A huge line formed for people waiting for ice cream sandwiches at a food truck parked in front of the market on this sunny Sunday. There were about 20 different stands with friendly vendors in this relatively small flea market. My husband's favorite vendors were selling paintings with Star Wars themes and Japanese influence. These paintings were pretty pricey ranging from 200-400 dollars. Handmade jewelry was very reasonably priced ranging from $5 to $50. Most vendors were ready to negotiate prices. After shopping around you can cross the street and have lunch on the patio at D'Amico's or Torchy's Tacos. I'll definitely visit this market again once cool weather sets in to shop for holiday gifts.

The flee market has about 10 aisles that you can walk threw and find just about any thing you may be looking for, when I go I usually look for collectable toys, video game systems, or household cleaning things. Some vendors serve food, here you can find some really good churros, elotes, nachos, tacos. You can also find some good herbs, spices, fruits, & vegetables. Don't come dressed up or wear sandals or flip flops, a lot of dust floats around from cars coming in and out of the parking area, and the place is a bit dirty. The place needs some Reno work but overall it's good place to shop at. Btw it is 2$ to park @ chengs

Shopping in Houston, Texas…read more.. Driving past the Houston Flea Market sign made me curious. I looked it up on Yelp. The Flea Market is supposed to open at 8am on Saturday. When I Googled it, opening time was 9am. Let's go at 9am! This Houston Flea Market was interesting. Some vendors were open; some were setting up; and most stalls were closed. At least parking and admission were free! Lisa wasn't able to bargain for some toys for her clients. That lady was strict. She went to another vendor and got some other plushie keychains that are reversible - happy and sad emotions... Cute! I found a woman who spoke English well. I liked her because she was sweeping outside her stall and we had eye contact as she greeted me. I saw a cute purse and asked the price. She wanted $12 for the Frida Kahlo purse. I offered $20 for two purses and got them! I was really happy! I would go back again for another adventure! I saw some handmade items from Mexico - like hats, boots, clothing, and coin purses. Cool!

On top of that my boyfriend stepped on the biggest pile of poop I've ever seen when it clearly states no dogs before you walk in (I saw at least 5). Watch your step if you plan to come here. I'm not sure why there's a brick and mortar Subway (amongst some other restaurants) in the middle of the place either. I could be wrong but isn't this place about small businesses? Another thing I noticed is the amount of drop ship items available ready for purchase at every stand. It's the same labubu dubai chocolate kpop demon hunter hello kitty stuff over and over and over again. I remember as a kid seeing a lot more variety in the shops. It's probably great to bring your kid here because they have rides and toys but overall I do not think I'll return. Special shout out to the game store Hey Bro!! Video Games cause they hooked it up with Mario Party Jamboree at a great price. Another stand (I cannot remember the name) offered the first Mario party to me for $35 but I was specifically looking for the newest version. It seriously felt like an endless Mexico market in Texas. Everyone was so nice and friendly and i never felted pressured into buying anything. What surprised me most was how clean and organized the market was, despite how sprawling and busy. The only small change I'd suggest is having pet vendors in a separate section from other vendors.

The kids can pick their pony and wear an assortment of hats. Then we rode a couple of the kid rides ($2 each). Entered through the front after that, where you don't have to walk through the stores. Watched the Mexican music in the music hall (free) which had some girls playing saxophone, a drummer, guitar, piano and singing. Was dark. Very dark. But i enjoyed the free music and AC. We then walked to the back and shopped a bit in the air conditioned building. Bought some fruit to eat while we strolled. Was good. $4. They have some food stalls too but we weren't hungry. There was plenty of parking at noon on a Saturday when we went. This place is within a stone's throw of the outdoor flea markers across the street so you can continue your shopping there afterwards.
