Update: someone "very kindly" messaged me to inform me the this only happens on the first Sunday of every month. Adding this here so no one else is mislead by the yelp page saying open on Sunday, which like a broken clock is only sometimes true.

Lots of sweets to chose from as well. There was a lot of people at this market which made it hard to move around at times. This also caused a wait at certain vendors but nothing too extreme.

We found street parking and walked to the flea market in a parking lot right across from D'Amico's…read morerestaurant in the Rice Village Shopping center. There were tons of young families and student shoppers at this trendy market full of funky handmade jewelry, soap, and thrift clothes. A huge line formed for people waiting for ice cream sandwiches at a food truck parked in front of the market on this sunny Sunday. There were about 20 different stands with friendly vendors in this relatively small flea market. My husband's favorite vendors were selling paintings with Star Wars themes and Japanese influence. These paintings were pretty pricey ranging from 200-400 dollars. Handmade jewelry was very reasonably priced ranging from $5 to $50. Most vendors were ready to negotiate prices. After shopping around you can cross the street and have lunch on the patio at D'Amico's or Torchy's Tacos. I'll definitely visit this market again once cool weather sets in to shop for holiday gifts.

Went to purchase a SOLID GOLD 10k NUGGET RING. Turned out every ring they had was stamped 10KB…read more(BONDED) which is a base metal ring with a layer of gold plated (10k, 14k) I checked every vender not one had a solid or hollow 10k ring. Everything stamped with the B which is fake. They'll give you the run around about how it's solid or passes the scratch test. Obviously it will pass the scratch test because it's platted. Moral of story check those STAMPS.
