Lots of new items can be found here for steal. My favorite day is Thursday where items on their sales tables are only $2. I've found many great deals on those tables from phone charging cables, toys, luggage bags, home goods, tools, and decor. Items here are mostly store overstock and returns so item quality and variety can be a mixed bag. Most items are in fairly good, almost new condition though. I don't come here to find the staples, instead I stop about once a week to see what deals I might find. You never know what you might find which always makes it an adventure and surprise! It's like a mystery reveal toy for adults :)

I get the quality and a lot of the boots are made of leather but I personally never spend $200+ on shoes/boots but I do want a pair, so I'll probably be back. They had a great variety. There were stacks of them, but they still refused, saying it was "policy." When I asked more, they said their manager told them to say that. ‍ I ended up going next door to Clothes Mentor and what a difference! It was cleaner, the staff was super kind, and they even let me use a container without a problem. Plato's Closet really needs to work on basic customer service and just being decent to people.
