With enchanting skill they entertained my little ones of two and three summers, transforming the shop into a stage of mirth and wonder. Unburdened by pressure in the selling, yet prodigal in extra effort at each juncture--at checkout, with purposeful endeavor they sought and secured discounts for my gain, and inspected the boots with watchful care for defects ere sealing the bargain. Such rare and noble service deserves the Bard's own verse--Boot Barn shines eternal through these gentle souls

DO NOT buy any boots here if you're looking for Quality footwear…read more Amy from this specific store convinced me to buy a pair of Ariats saying that they were durable Boots & would last me a long time. Especially if I purchased leather cream & applied it twice every week. These expensive piece of Garbage literally only lasted me 2 Months. Amy told me that if the sole started falling apart or the leather started coming apart (witch it did after 2 months of use) I could bring them back & get a different pair. I came back to Boot barn to exchange them & the staff there said that, that kind of Damage is from normal wear. Apparently really expensive ($190) Boot Barn boots only last 2 months. Then they expect you to be satisfied with only 2 months of use with this kind of price tag. If I knew that the staff at this location weren't going to honor their word at the end. I would've never spent any kind of money on footwear. I feel seriously ripped off by this store. I most definitely will not be spending any more of my money at Boot Barn in the future. They should be ashamed of themselves for ripping people off like this. I've worked in Irrigation for 13 years & have gone through a few pairs of Boots. Normally my work boots last me 1 - 2 years before they start showing wear & tear. They seriously tried their best to convince me that, that kind of damage was Normal (how disgraceful!) Hopefully my experience with this place helps someone else NOT get ripped off like I was. If I could give zero stars, I would. NEVER spending at dollar at this store ever again.

On Thursday night, I took my time getting to Christmas in Color in Shakopee. I realized that I…read moreneeded to get something at Dollar Tree and did a search. I found this one in Burnsville, which was along the way. I have been in this area a few times, but more for Kohl's across the street. I decided to branch out and check this store out. Dollar Tree is in a plaza. There was plenty of parking when I was there at around 5:30 pm. I pulled into a parking spot and made my way over to the store. I noticed a Burnsville police vehicle in front of me that was finding a place to park. Interesting. I entered the store. It was warmer temperature-wise than most stores. It was another interesting fact. I found what I needed. I then took several minutes to browse. This store has the best cereal selection that I have ever seen. It had Franken Berry from my childhood, but likely reformulated. I saw Monster Mash cereal and immediately grabbed a box. I didn't even want to look at how much sugar this cereal contained. I knew that I had to try it. I also saw Sesame Street cereal, which intrigued me. This trip has found me crave cereal. I blame the hotel that I am staying at with a decent selection of cereal. This Dollar Tree has everything that you could ask for, from reading glasses, to Peeps for Valentine's Day. Everything is a dollar. I have heard that some Dollar Tree stores have raised their prices, but they haven't happened in the Twin Cities. I heard a cashier with an extremely high-pitched, childlike voice speak to a police officer. It was almost like the policeman was at an elementary school sharing his knowledge with kids. Apparently, a police report had been filed about a break-and-enter incident at this store earlier in the day. Wow! I went to pay for my items and got the woman with the childlike voice. I will admit that the combination of her voice and what she was telling me was difficult to process at first. Apparently, someone had broken into the store and messed up the copper wiring such that the heating system kicked in incessantly and on a higher temperature than normal. Such a weird act to commit! I paid with a credit card. All was great. I hoped that all would work out and she appreciated it. Admittedly, I didn't shop as thoroughly as I normally would at a Dollar Ture due to getting to my event by 6 pm. When I'm back in this area, I'll revisit this store and hope that the heating is back to normal. I also need to check out the frozen food section because I never got there! (1)

This store is not as big and doesn't carry as much stuff as Apple Valley location. Staff was nice. They are always short staffed. Prices are now $1.25. My tag board was 79 cents though. The store is located in a strip mall so next door is Petco and Sierra Trading. Old Navy recently moved in. Parking is abundant.
