I was trying to look for a stuff to do to kill time since I was in the area and this place was a bit of a disappointment. I am a mall Enthusiast whether it's dead or alive but this place has definitely fallen on Hard Times. This mall is at least 15% occupied with stores, shops and food places. Apparently it wasn't like this before covid. This place is a great mall walkers paradise since it has three floors and plenty of stairs to check out. The restrooms are in great condition most of the small is in great conditions though it's showing signs of decay. Ridiculous be playing music but since there isn't any music it just feels eerie and out of place. They do have a lot of things potentially coming to this mall to try to revitalize it. I am hopeful and especially since that this mall is not owned by the Namdar company that maybe that there's hope for the mall. Businesses outside of the mall are busy with people but not the mall. The mall I would say is really warm in some areas. Only the future can tell for Burnsville Center. read more

Holy cow, this place is awful. Once Pretzelmaker and Eddie Bauer is gone, RIP. The selection of stores is vast if you're looking for a hijab or prom dress. There is ONE spot open in the food court. The (gun shot) bang for your buck is the only value you'll get at the Burnsville Center. read more

We visited the tailoring shop inside the mall. We also walked around and it was sad and disappointing that the mall is in such bad shape and so empty. Even Macy's has reduced inventory and eliminated their plus size department. Very little in housewares too. Some of the stores had limited hours signs. Still no sign of the mythical Asian Mall / food hall. read more

I dropped by Burnsville Center after having lunch nearby the other day. I had never been to this mall before. I decided to check out Macy's and also ended up at Games by James. This mall looks sad when you walk around. It felt like this mall has seen better days. The pandemic probably made things worse. I looked at Lenscrafters tucked in a corner. Stores that used to be in this short wing were closed for good. It was the case as you browsed. Macy's, Old Navy, and JC Penney are your main anchor stores at this mall. Most of the larger restaurants, such as Applebee's, and Noodles & Company, are on the other side of the mall, kind of separate from it. They must have been developed well after this mall as first established. Macy's seemed to be alive and kicking. There were many customers shopping there. There was a place where kids can get photos with Santa on the first floor, near Macy's. I saw something like twelve elves helping two kids with their photos and then they all went away. It was weird. My highlight was finding Games by James on the first floor. Going into this store felt like a normal shopping experience that you'd expect. There were many customers, and everything that I was looking at was fun and fascinating. I feel like this mall is still stuck in the 80's and hasn't grown with the times. It needs help and I hope that things get better with more stores setting up shop. It would be a shame to see this mall close for good. (486) read more

My husband and I went here on a Friday during Christmas break, mostly just to walk around, but also to see what stores were left in the mall. I don't usually hit Bville Center - I prefer shopping online, and when I do need to go into a store, I prefer a safer venue. We were shocked at how many stores were closed! More than 3/4. What was also shocking was how dirty the place was, the carpeting was stained in many places. I was also surprised to see no security people around - there used to be a few security people moving about. (I grew up in this area, so this was the mall I went to.) I know there's a problem with trafficking at the mall, so I guess I thought they'd have more security. But, I suppose with hardly any stores, the mall can't afford new carpeting or security personnel. I don't see myself returning. I'm hoping someone buys this mall and makes it beautiful again. read more

Being out and about looking around at different stores looking for deals seeing a lot of people and babies and nice Shopping Center with a lot of good stores and good employees will visit again go visit and you will see and you will likely go back nine times out of 10 read more

I remember coming here for all my holiday shopping and hanging out with friends. At least there's still stores here worth coming for and a few places to grab some good grub. I would not drop your kids off by themselves here. I have heard reports of kidnapping here. I talked to some mall employees and they tell me that it is easy and convenient to get right on the freeway is why this place seems to be a target. The food court in this mall is scetchy. You can do yourself a favor by eating at Applebee's, Lucky 13 or Panera instead of the risky food inside. This mall is small and easy to get in and out if you have something quick that you want to do. read more

This place has seen much better days. I come to this mall when I need to get to a store that is also in MOA but I do not want to fight the MOA crowds. This mall is rather depressing. A lot of empty tenant spaces. You can tell at one time this mall was a local fixture but that was a much better time. At least their isn't large crowds to fight through, mostly just teenagers hanging out which I wouldn't be comfortable with letting my daughter do at this location, not that safe. This mall has the mall staples like Bath and Body Works, Express, JC Pennys, Victoria's Secret, and Claires. If you are looking for these basic stores, they are here and open for business. I really hope the Burnsville Center can turn the corner and get better because the location is conveinent and the potential is there. The Rosedale Center in Roseville did it, I hope the Burnsville Center can too. read more

Pretty much your average shopping mall. Conveniently off the freeway where 35E and 35W split. Lots of stores, decent food court, and restaurants and movie theater nearby. On a funny note, this ground floor could almost be mistaken for a car dealership! There are probably at least a dozen cars spread throughout the mall! read more

I really don't enjoy going to shopping centers all that much anymore. Perhaps I did more back in the 80s 90s. This seems to be a mall that missed the memo on getting an upgrade and the mall that time forgot. First time at this mall and most likely the last. It's not completely tragic, just seemed really outdated. Standard stores No restaurants to speak of (sit down at least) Family restrooms were filthy- cute concept, but filthy. Smallish food court 80s style complete with an old arcade and mini golf. Movie theatres are outside the mall. The set up just brought me back to the 80s. read more

Will never return to shop at this mall ! Every table in food court dirty , bathrooms filthy even glass doors entering /exiting mall were full of hand prints . This place is so disgusting no wonder most of the stores are closed etc.. Left without spending a dime went to another shopping location. Good place to go to walk around. It's not too busy and the atmosphere is just right. It has enough stores to explore different things like shoes, clothes, flags, and photos. They also have a couple optical stores. There is plenty of variety with the food court and other food shops such as the Pretzel Maker, Dairy Queen and Cinnabon. Plus a couple restaurants that I haven't tried yet at this location- Applebees and Luckys 13 Pub. Plus there are vendors around and a cool little train that keeps the little ones entertained. As well as a Chucky Cheese and an arcade. My vote for a nice warm place to walk during the winter to keep in shape. All in all a good little mall to go hang out at to get away from the four walls of my living space. I'm excited to see what future updates might come as well as stores that might fill up the newly empty spaces. read more

There are not a lot of reviews for this mall which is not surprising as there it not much to write about for a 70's style American Mall in a typical suburban location. The developer tried to create a sunken food court with two levels circling around I suppose so you can stand along the rail watching people consume fast food items and there actually were people standing along the rails and watching. Otherwise the mall is about the same as Southdale, Rosedale, or a mall just about anywhere. The bland music overhead, the 19 year old Assistant Floor Managers strutting around. There are a few empty storefronts but the rest does have a mix of some destination places so the usually struggling wing corridors off the main oval can receive some traffic. Oddly here in the middle of Burnsville there are some character types wandering the floor not all that different from the downtown areas. Perhaps they plan to stare at the diners in the food court or vice versa. read more

Yes I go to the Burnsville Center frequently but I don't enjoy it. The place is crowded with teeny boppers that are unable to head to MOA without being with a parent or guardian. The stores seem like they are targeting them too. No high end stores like one of the other reviewers mentioned like Jcrew, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor though there is a Holister, Aeropostale, and Charlotte Russe. Everytime I go I head three stores and try to jet out asap. Pretzel maker who makes the best pretzels on earth! JCP for great deals (who knows how long they will last!) and chuckie cheeses for the nieces and nephews. read more

We were in the area visiting a friend so decided to check it out. The mall is between a Roseville and Maplewood Mall. I am leaning more to Maplewood since I just like the stores/atmosphere of Roseville area. The one big plus is the video game area called Tilt which has a mini-golf in the dark with sea theme. It cost $5 per person with 18 holes which was pretty similar. But, hey it is only $5 for the entire course. The videogames are old but more reasonable than other places. HM is coming here to the mall so this might be a reason to make it out here. Renovations are going on so will have to reserve judgement if it is closer to Roseville later. read more

Your lips are painfully cracked, caked in scabs and you know if you don't find something soon that you're going to keel over and become a permanent addition to the harsh landscape that envelops you. Though your vision clips in and out, your dull eyes focus just long enough to spot the subtle shimmer of a bottle in the near distance. A pang of adrenaline shoves its way through your collapsing veins and forces you to scramble to your feet. For the first time in days, your limbs ignite and you break into a stumbling run, painfully gulping in the air and pawing at the emptiness before you. You get closer and closer until you realize--yes, for the love of everything holy, yes--it's a bottle. A bottle -full- of liquid. Throwing yourself to the ground, you use every last fiber of your being to pry it open and dump the contents down your throat, gasping and sputtering all the while. The mystery liquid could be your second grade teacher's piss mixed with tiger jizz and it would still be the most delicious thing that had ever passed your lips at that very moment. You make it out of the desert that day, friend, still clutching the very bottle that saved your life. While you're well on your way to freedom, you take a moment to more closely examine the label. Relax--it wasn't your old haggy teacher's piss and Bengal spooge--no. It was something far, far more horrifying. It was Faygo. Though you're panicked, you remind yourself how delicious it was and vow to keep an open mind to trying it again. But, predictably, once you have access to a myriad of other liquids, you're (to put it mildly) unenthusiastic the instant the juggalo juice hits your mouth. Overtime, your distaste grows more and more pronounced. This mall is that Faygo. It's great when you've led a quiet life in a shitty little rural town with nothing. It was one of the first 'large' malls I'd ever been to when I moved up here many years ago. Now, though? It's just... well. It's nothing special. In fact, it's off-putting at times. The food court is abysmal and almost entirely comprised of knockoff restaurants (IE: "Chick Wich instead of Chik-Fil-A, "Asian Too" instead of... any other recognizable Asian mall place... etc) that don't shine nearly as brightly as their respective counterparts. Thus, the food ends up being wholly turd-esque even by shitty mall court standards with the same hefty price tag. Blech... no, thanks. There's literally no reason to come here in a land that nearly has as many malls as lakes. Nothing pops, nothing stands out (apart from the abundant parking). Okay... maybe it was harsh to compare you to Faygo, Burnsville Center, but I was going for that literary punch, y'know? Anyway... meh. I'll drag my dry, crumbled corpse of a shell to Rosedale Mall any day over this. read more

This is a typical neighborhood mall. It doesn't have the anchor stores I'd like (Banana Republic, JCrew, Nordstrom) but in a pinch it'll do. The best thing about this mall is the kids play area. I love that. read more

Like the fact that it's convenient but I wish that it had more to offer, we go here for the few thing like Sears run or if we don't have time for the MOA. My kids love the miniature golf, the black lights are pretty cool. read more

This review is for Pacsun since I can't find Pacsun on Yelp or Facebook, this will do. My mother and I went to the mall last week (June 2016) and went into Pacsun because they were having a blue dot sale (buy one get two free). AT FIRST the employees were just alright, the male that night was goofing off and rubbing my clothes on his face when my mom and I were checking out, saying they were his eyebrows. The other girl working was ringing us out, but laughing and paying more attention to the guy. I got 3 items from the blue dot sale, and left the store. We got out of the store and realized there was a shirt we didn't buy that still had the security sensor on it, so my mother and I ran back to the store to return the item. We left again and the buzzers went off again!! We turned around and went back to the register to find out the security sensors were still on ALL of my clothes. (Complete carelessness) and then my mom said to the people working "check the purple bra for a sensor" so they dig and they dig, they can't find it. So instead of me getting my purple bra from the blue dot sale, she threw in the bag something that wasn't mine, and something I didn't pay for, so where did this purple bra go? I have no idea because it wasn't in my bag to begin with. They indirectly blamed us, whether they thought we stole it or lost it. So the girl says "well its not like you're missing out on money because technically it was free" well I'm sorry but when Pop-Tarts are buy one get two free (just like the blue dot sale), you don't grab all 3 boxes and then go to the cashier, thinking you're gonna go home with all 3 to have her tell you "well you don't need that one box cause technically its free." Its a sale, and that's how it goes. I am still very very upset about this, my mom had called and talked to multiple different managers. The first manager said they value customer service more then anything and that I will get that purple bra no matter what. The second manager my mom spoke to said he can't do anything but let me grab a blue dot item off the clearance rack. After it has been 4 days and picked through. I bought that purple bra for a music festival, I was so excited about it. And I feel like I should get that purple bra. Not just pick through leftover clearance items. I will never go back read more
